Yet another case for a cloning forum, I think it would really be helpful.
Ok, in brief what I've done (and this is with a plant that's already doing well, and already flowering).
Rooting hormone
Peat pots (I actually started with.. ok, toilet paper rolls that I cut in half and filled with soil
but it worked!) or soil with lots of sand or perlite mixed in it (it needs to drain REALLY well and be easy for new roots to grow into)
Something that will act as a humidity dome to keep humidity high.
What I would do is trim off all but the top sets of leaves, and then trim those in about half. You need to do this so the plant doesn't spend energy trying to grow the leaves but instead growing roots.
Cut the stem at a node so that you've got about three or four nodes above the peat pot or soil or whatever you use. 45degree angle.
Dip in rooting hormone, tap off excess (if you're using powder).
Place in rooting medium, ensuring that is also very moist, but not dripping wet.
Mist the plant and put under the dome. You'll need to open the dome at least a couple of times a day so it doesn't rot and to prevent mildew.
There are many, MANY methods for cloning, this is what I did because I live in a remote area with pisspoor shopping in town and I haven't got a lot of extra scratch and wanted to clone my girls. If you do a search on cloning and check the GrowFAQs you'll find a lot more information.
At this point it's worth a try I think.
