They will be fine with 4 hrs of dark mate, a lot of people run 20/4 schedule during veg all the time.

Time to transplant into bigger pots at least double the size. Start your flowering a week from now or your going to run into an overgrowth problem.

You can actually wait a week n a half then flower if you prune them correctly depending on what kind of lights and how much height you have above your plants. What I would do is allow your plants to grow for another 4 days then cut the side branches off but leave the leaves for sure. This lets your plants grow fast because you did not remove the leaf that helps make energy for the plant. By removing the side branches the main stalk will grow thick and rapidly. If you leave those side branches on they are going to compete with the plants next to them and you are going to end up with a bunch of really small airy buds and high humidity. This way you will get about 16 nice half ounce colas if you do it right depending on your light source.

I was sort of joking, I know some people do 12/12 from seed and I haven't grown a single cola plant so I really wouldn't know!

Straight up and down LGC, I think we've found a new occupation for you. But seriously that's whats I thought. I was thinking of transplanting on Wednesday after I get some superthrive so thanks for that headsup Situation420.

White Widow from Herbie seeds. 420 I was noticing an overlap is imminent but I must confess I'm confused on how to remove branches but not leaves. I know they fuel growth. I was hoping to get like an oz per plant but thats probably unrealistic. I have 1 1000w MH so doing the math I've actually got 2 plants too many for SOG. LGC these seeds have been a dream soaked em for 20 hours and then they germed 18 hrs later. Tap roots were already nearly 1cm long before I put them in a root sponge, had me sprung. I've been trying too keep up with them ever since.

If you look at the nodes you'll see a leaf that comes out and between the leaf stem and the main stalk is a stem that comes out. When it first appears it is really soft and can easily be plucked out. The plant heals over and that leaf now contributes its energy to the main stalk rather than producing a new branch. Once they get tall enough you can remove the lower fan leaves that are blocked by the upper ones until you get to the upper ones. Once the flowering starts you can remove the fan leaves with no flowers growing if they aren't getting light.

Ah, OK, so you're talking about plucking the little branches that grow off out of the node above the base of the fan leaf?

yea the little node between the main stem and the leaf stem. It looks like a little green poof made of a couple mini leaf tips.

i am going to have to agree with you.

and just because some people grow 12/12 from seed, doesn't mean all plants or varieties does well from 12/12 from seed.
