Hi all
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I have a question about the air pressure in my home.
I want to exhaust and intake air from a room hanging off my basement. The basement will house a 5x5x7 gorilla tent. The idea is that this second room will have better air circulation. It also houses a larger humidifier, which will be helpful because the air in my basement is pretty dry (40% RH or so.). The idea is to have 6" intake and 6" exhaust fans (AC Infinity with carbon filter, ~250 CFM in, ~400 CFM out) drawing and pushing to opposite sides of that secondary room.
I've been told I can create negative pressure throughout my entire home doing this. I don't understand how that is possible, as I'm not taking in or exhausting directly from the outdoors.
Thoughts?
