Air Cooled Light Question

My grow room is a closet that measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 8 = 98 cubic feet. I will be using a 600 watt HPS inside a DayStar air-cooled hood with 6" flanges. What kind (strength) of fan should I use to cool this light?

Could I use only one fan to cool the light and vent the room?

i would not recommend that. use separate fans for the light and venting. for venting you could use any fan the can vent over 100cfm for the i wouls use a 6" inline fan really i would think anything over 130cfm would do the trick

I'd do a centrifugal fan. What are mostly labeled as inline duct fans are often booster fans, and will not create enough pressure. They are meant to be used with a centrifugal fan or blower to increase throughput for long expanses of ducting, not to be your primary source of airflow. Personally with an air cooled hood, if it's 'outside' the room, the more CFM the better it will cool them.
