Air Pump Question

Hello All,

I'm stuck...I need to power 10 mini air stones in my 10 bucket RDWC system. I'm not sure how large of an air pump I need. They are all measured in Liters Per Minute but I have no idea how to work out the size I need. Any help would be appreciated.

How many gallons of water?
How deep is the res?
How big are mini's, I use 6 inch Elite Air stones.
You could use two dual diaghram 4 outlet pumps.
They work for me.

but then I'm insanish, so don't listen to us.

It comes with a manifold to provide 6 separate outlets, and those outlets can be expanded on with t-connectors without hurting the pressure.

General rule is about 1watt per gallon on water.

straitkilla911 is correct. That's the rule I go by...

1 watt per gallon is correct,if you use pet store pumps most of them dont have the specs on the box there on the back of the pump,most 4 outlet pet store pumps will only do a few gallons.for example a 4 outlet pump rated at 2.83 gpm or 10.67 lpm is rated at 7 watts wich equals 7 gal.. your better off getting 1 thats bigger than you think you need. good luck
