Air Purifier = Odor Control ?

Has anyone tried using an air purifier for odor control? Here's a link to the one I'm thinking of getting.. let me know what you think!

This looks just like an air ioniser.

DO you need one that does 3500sq ft?

You can get smaller ones for less money.

I don't need a 3500sq ft but the price seems reasonable and I just figured a bigger stronger one would only help... But you are saying that this will in fact work?

Yes to a certain degree.

If you were exhausting into a room that had the ioniser in it then it would possibly work at getting rid of some of the smell.

Would you not want to use a carbon filter?

For the price of that ioniser you could get an inline fan and filter combo package.

Carbon scrubbers are cheaper and in my opinion more effective. Ozone works pretty well and has the added benefit of discouraging mold. Your mileage may vary but ionizers didn't work well for me.

Now i dont know the size of your grow room so i cant hazard a guess as to what size you would need until you specify dimensions etc then i could pin point you to one.
