airflow and capacity/yeild questions

yea my window is street facing and your right 70 bucks for some plastic with a hole in it (facepalm) i feel like im being picky bout the type holes im willing to punch in my house... electrical outlets ok! holes in the ceiling or roof eehhh idk lol... plus i want to save money and do the work myself dont really wanna hire a pro unless theyre hustling with side jobs for way less like how i get things on my car fixed my mechanic bro in law whos always workin outta his own garage for the xtra money

You don't intend to use the ac when it's cool outside right? They will freeze up when it hits the 50's outside.

think ima go with this one or some like it if i can find it a lil cheaper i like that it has a backstop i know at my apt the vent for the stove was on the wall next to it and it was basically a hole in the wall with a decorative vent cover on the outside and in the winter you could feel a steady stream of cold air flowin thru it into my kitchen and in the summer there was a steady steam of warm air from the air conditioner unit right under it i just got a peice of cardboard and slid it between the wall and fan cover and when id cook slid it out replace when done

People complain about window units leaking odor so you will want to ensure the room doesn't stank. A good scrubber or two running in there will take care of that.

scrubber prolly wouldnt be a bad idea either way... i have 2 corgis and tho ill be keeping them out of the room their hair and dander seem to find its way into everything

Stretch nylons over your intakes. You’ll know why when you see all the dust and hair they catch. I just brushed mine off and they were nasty.

trust me i wont be surprised... i dont have any carpet in my house because i feel like its just a big nasty sponge even with a samsung roomba going around twice a day regular sweeping with a broom is a must and the amount of dog hair and dander is still rediculous love my fur babies but sometimes... lol

I have three rotties. Dog hair is definitely a thing... I am so anal about it, couldn't stand it were my weed to get hairy, fortunately my grow is in the basement and they don't get to go down there. I still clean a LOT. The grow and the drying and trimming room are both off limits to anyone with dog hair on their clothes (including me).

A lab coat and flip-flops for downstairs are something I consider wise along with some glasses. If nothing else you look cool haha.

dont have a clue what you look like but from now on ill imagine you as dexter from dexters laboratory lol... and same i dont walk around in socks always have some slides on when at home, as soon as i get home from work i change my clothes so it doesnt end up on my work clothes, i dont let any cloth items hit the floor. and one of my dogs spends the whole time im at work wallowing on my couch poking her head thru the blinds when pull into the drive way cant even sit down on the couch until ive changed and hit it with the duster (specifically bought a leather couch so i wasnt gettin out the vacuum everyday) and forget those dump lint rollers packin tape works and is more economical specially when you can take rolls from work lbs
