I got a 4 inch airstone from the pet store and was wondering if I should keep it on all day everyday or set it up so it turns on only when the drip system is on controlled by the timer. I am growing in a waterfarm. I searched but couldnt find anything saying when the airstone should be on.

24/7 and make sure your pump is higher than water level. Setting it on a solid surface will dampen the noise some. The more bubbly the better.

can you guys recomend a good style of bubbler??? i am using the little cheap blue ones but the bubbles seem way big.
