Airy buds?

I just place them in the jars , wondering will they harden up during the curing process and not as airy as I think they are.( and I know the trimming is god awful)

Try back building your buds next time. Basically snipping off the very top of the bud a few times during growth, it will swell them.
 
Looks like you harvested too early and had temperatures too high. They're not going to magically get harder via curing.
 
Yes, they will firm up as they cure. The first couple of days after jarring, they're going to moisten up and stick together. Some buds may stick to the glass. Dump them out for an hour or so, or put them in a paper bag for 4 hours if they're really wet. Then back in the jars and check the next day.

After a few days, you'll hear them 'clink' around in your jars as the moisture level stabilizes. They will be noticeably drier and firmer then. They won't ever thicken up and be dense nuggets, but they'll be firmer to the touch. I would agree with others that you probably needed to let them grow longer so they could thicken up more. Typically sativas take longer to mature.
