What are the smells like on this?
The top one is kind of fruity. The other 2 have a slight ammonia on the back end. What are the smells like on this?
I have the NL Haze and TKNLHaze, both Haze dom. You will like the TK dom for sure, great cross. The Rip Snort was a nice one too, garbage smell and real strong, surprised me. Good luck!Sounds like I need to fuck around and find out. TK dom first.
Thats exactly how I thought weed grew when I was a child, straight off the leaf!View attachment 5257626View attachment 5257627View attachment 5257628View attachment 5257629View attachment 5257630View attachment 5257631
Here's the 90's mystery blueberry testers. Had a couple with buds growing out of the fan leaves. Pretty sweet terps and yields good. The buds weren't as dense as some modern strains but were very chunky. Glad I f-2'd it. Really need to run it another time or two to get the feel of it. Seeded several plants and just made keef and edibles out of them. I'm loving these genetics. Thanks to akbeanbrains!
Any skunk smell off them dirty little whores yet? Also what kind of soil are you growing them in?Old school skunk. Extremely uniform from seed. View attachment 5255700
No skunk smell yet, the 2 shorter cat piss phenos have some light ammonia funk on the back end though.Any skunk smell off them dirty little whores yet? Also what kind of soil are you growing them in?
So I went down to check them this morning before lights out. Fruity smells on 2. This one has a bit of funk. We will see what happens.Any skunk smell off them dirty little whores yet? Also what kind of soil are you growing them in?
What are the double serrations indicative of?So I went down to check them this morning before lights out. Fruity smells on 2. This one has a bit of funk. We will see what happens.

I have more hope for skunk funk from the Hawaiian Cat Piss v3. Got some double serrations on all three plants.

Curious too, I see them often in my gardenWhat are the double serrations indicative of?
I had read that the original rks had the double serrations. How true that is, I have no idea. But I'm after that unicorn. What are the double serrations indicative of?
I remmeber reeding somewhere about this mutation of growing buds out of fan leaves. Cant remember where or what the mutation was called.View attachment 5257626View attachment 5257627View attachment 5257628View attachment 5257629View attachment 5257630View attachment 5257631

Aren't we all lol.I had read that the original rks had the double serrations. How true that is, I have no idea. But I'm after that unicorn.
Ain't that the truth. Maybe everyone is chasing a ghost, but at least we will get some good smoke along the way. I have been able to start to get local stains people have been working for years where I'm at, I might find a gem in there, who knows.Aren't we all lol.
I'm networking to develop that kind of relationship in my local community. There are alot of young folk like myself getting into growing and alot of old timers with some really high quality bud, I'd like to be a part of the bridge between them.Ain't that the truth. Yep agreed, sharing is caring. I don't have a direct connection to the old heads where I'm at yet but I do through intermediaries that we have met and become close with. I'm hoping some of these older strains have what a lot of us are looking for. Maybe it's all nostalgia, but should be a cool journey non the less.I'm networking to develop that kind of relationship in my local community. It's still prohibited in the union halls around me despite recent legislation. Despite that, I've already met a few people who grow in the trade. Those numbers are going to shoot up in the coming years. I want to lead the charge getting us together, sharing knowledge and genetics.
I have tangential connections... the guy who taught me what I know had some of the best weed I've ever smoked, but he's dead. Through the grapevine I was able to get some really good cuts from another old timer, and I am grateful for his work, but it was not the classic stuff I'm really interested in.Yep agreed, sharing is caring. Exactly. We have been sharing seeds we've made or have traded with others. We also give out probably 50-100 cuts in the spring to friends to pass on to their friends and families as well.I have tangential connections... the guy who taught me what I know had some of the best weed I've ever smoked, but he's dead. It's mostly luck and happenstance up to this point, but I've got a lifetime to see it through.
If I don't meet my goal, I'm at least going to have a fun journey
I had a plant for awhile that was grown from a bag seed a friend found back in 1980. It had double serrated leaves. It didn't have much skunk odor, in fact not much odor at all except if you brushed up against it I'd get a catpiss odor. Best stuff I've ever grown. Tasted like earthy/hash. I've had a few plants with double serrated leaves since then, and was always hopeful, but none of them compared to that 1980 plant.I had read that the original rks had the double serrations. How true that is, I have no idea. But I'm after that unicorn.
