Hey everybody this is my first thread , did a couple grows before but they where more of a learning experience also I couldn't find alot of information on this particular strain so hopefully what I have gathered is useful to another grower! I made quite a few mistakes with these - being my first autos it was a learning curve but I think they aren't looking to bad now ! This is about 5 weeks. A little undersized I think but I blame that to leaving them in their seedling lighting too long ( doing another grow same seeds moved to veg light after first week noticable difference in size and root mass) but they are a nice healthy green color so I'm happy.
- 600 watt L.E.D ( a cheapo off Amazon) for the vegetative stage , plan to switch to 400 watt HID for flowering here within the next week or so.
Happy frog soil - big bloom nutrients used once a week seems to be just fine for the girls.
3 gallon pots
PH- 6.5-7 (water and feedings)
No real problems so far they are in a growth spurt at the moment they stayed small for about the first month but now I am seeing steady growth daily.
Experimenting with low stress training and pruning , mild pruning doesn't seem to bother them much as far as stunting and they took well to the shaping besides the one standing straight up it didn't seem keen so I didn't force it but that's okay I'm going to compare the yeild and see if the LST brought about any significant changes or not.
Purple stems and striping where a mild concern but I'm fairly sure ( after some research ) that it is genetic , plants are otherwise healthy and both parental strains have shown the same trait previously according to my research. I'll keep it updated but if anyone has any questions comments or advice I'd love to hear it !
Much love ✌
