AK48 lowryder CFL grow.

hi guys,

I am planning on doing a small cfl grow with lowryders.

seeds - 4 x ak48 lowryder (fem)

lighting - 1 x 250w (2700k) cfl and 1 x 250w (6500k) cfl - 13,000 lumens each - ENVIROLITE'S.

fans/coling - the place where i am going to grow is generally cool

nutrients/food - i have not yet purchased any nutrients yet but will do.

I shall be growing them in the cubord on my wall which can quite easily fit 10 plants if i want to grow more on my next grow.

Questions i wold like to ask.


1.will 500w (26,000 lumens) of mixed spectrum be enough for 4 plants or could i get 1 more in there?

2.can i grow them at 18/6 the whole way through?

3.would i be looking at about 1.5-2oz per plant?

4.do lowryder and auto flowering seeds grow the same? (both triggered by age)?

5.would i be better just buying 2 flowering envirolites or 1 of each for a mixed spectrum? (both 250w)

i am really excited and i willll be getting sum piccys up in a few weeks when i start my grow.

please comment and advice as i shall be starting the grow in 2-3 week's.

Would i get a bigger yeild if i just grew my 2 la woman (DNA genetics) seeds (fem),or would i get a bigger yeild from 4 lowryders at about 1oz per plant?

a. heat will build up in your cabinet and the air will get stale - you will have to ventilate.

1. i would get a second 2700k for flowering and just use both 2700's for flowering.

2.yes

3. 0.5 grams bud per fluorescent watt is a reasonable goal if things go right in your grow (not likely for first time). that would be 1.1 ounces per plant.

4.lowryder is a type of autoflowering strain

5. one 6500k for veg and two 2700k for flowering

About number two.
I know nothing about ak-48, but from #2 I'm guessing its an autoflower?
If not, your gonna have to switch to 12/12 to flower.

Ok thanks,yes ak48 is an autoflower and i would be doing 20/4 or 18/6 throughout the whole growt period.

I have decided to do my 2 (fem) la woman with kick ass dna genetics.

How does this sound.

Vegging under 1 200w (6500k) cfl and 2 250w (2700k) cfl.

Flowering under 1 200w (6500k) cfl and 2 250w (2700k) cfl.

Also do you think it would be a good idea to put them in the greenhouse on sunny days or will that ruin its habitat and mess them about?

If anyone has ever grown la woman then please comment especially with cfl =)?
