i moved to cali from the mat -su valley and what they have here is not even close, ive looked for the real strain of mtf from redding to la california. you can not get the real thing out of the matanuska valley, and you can barley even find it there. its the fuckin best in the world bro nothing in any of the collectives has even come close. i could not get seeds or clone in alaska just dried , if youve ever been there you would know its not somthing growers lett go and theres a reason. that strain will never make it out of alaska, its something they have perfected. the real strain gets a crazy shade of blue and has a unmistakeable taste that you can taste till its completely cashed out....i miss the shit outta that bud.

I reckon the folks that produced Mendo Purps didn't mind sharing... but the real ATF and MTF (local Matanuska valley strain) will more than likely never be grown outside of Alaska.

Agreed, You just wont find true MTF outside of AK. Some people may be growing what they bought as ATF or MTF but that does not make it so. If that was the case then I guess the seeds from BC Seeds really do have over 40% THC in them as well. To make MTF you need the strain, the 24 hrs of uniterupted sunlight, the fresh glacial rains and the fertile glacial soil that the Matanuska Valley is known for. You should see the Vegitables that come from there, Squash as big as a little boy. Its crazy how it works. I bet it was still some good bud though.

I lived there for 19 years before I joined the Marines, maybe some day I will move back.

ps wasnt tryin to sound like i know everything, just saying what i learned from living in ak. it has to be grown in the mat-su valley vollcanic ash to be matanuska thunder fuck....... i love growin in ak it gets so cold at night i was able to putt the 1000 watters right ontop of my plants it was tha shit.

i think ATF is one of the biggest jokes out there. and if it is all true and alaskans are hoarding it, then fuck them. i don't want it anyways. and why exactly would they hoard it? simply to say "we are better"? urban legend if there ever was one. there is NO "magic place" on earth.

i think he is actually trying to say that it has to be grown in alaska to say its alaskan as if you took alaskan thunder fuck plant young and drove it outta alaska flowered it you cant call the bud "alaskan thunder fuck" its just something else lmfao people are special sometimes

the first collective i went to when i gott here had some shit they called atf....was good but defineatly not real thunder fuck, they had the clones to but like i said wasnt thunder fuck. its super hard to even get it in alaska.......and im not talkin shit on cali . i hate it here to overpopuluted haha but they do got some shit over here called trinity trainwreck wwwwooooowwww its fuckin like #2 on my top 10 list

really everything gets huge in alaska why is that can you tell me is it the soil is it the temps is it the sun is brighter there why ??? tell me more than just i have to go there tell me why everything gets so big and the bottom line is i said that there is alot of counterfeit atf out there BUT THE REAL DEAL IS OUT THERE TOO

it needs to freeze to bring out its true potency is an ignorant statement freezing temps are bad for cannabis plants period thats why cold weather growers use green house's and some sort or heater that kicks on around high 40's

Outdoors growth in Alaska is larger by most because of the fact that in most parts of the state during summer, there is at least 22 hours of daylight.
