alcohol evaporation rate

I will distill my own, I have 2 stills, just a ball ache as I have nothing prepared at the moment I will look at making a mash in the next couple of weeks, what machine would you recommend for the tincture if any, levo 2 or source turbo, as the levo is just a infusion process, it may be good enough I have no experience of either machine.

For tincture the best stuff to use is a high volume alcohol, everclear, moonshine, 189/190/195. Yeah 150/151 will work, but those volumes of alcohol still contain about 30% water, which will make everything you might use your tincture for take that much longer to burn-off that watered down alcohol which will make whatever edibles you might make taste more like burnt cannabis tincture than the flavorings of the item you might be making. For example, say you were making lollipops, the burn-off period for 25ml of 190 proof infused tincture at 160c/320f, is 48 seconds, and the burn-off period for 25ml of 151 proof infused tincture at 160c/320f, is 186 seconds. So because you must cook the lower volume alcohol tincture longer to burn-off all the alcohol and water it contains, you end up with edibles tasting more like burnt cannabis tincture, than say a nice grape flavored lollipop that is infused with cannabis!

I decarboxylate my bud in my ardent nova machine (there are instructions online for different methods of using an oven instead)

then i drop the decarbed bud into a mason jar and do 1/3-1/2 filled with everclear, then add buds. I wait one full minute, then shake for a full minute, then I drop it into my french press and slowly press it down to seperate the bud from the everclear. After this, I pour the everclear out then let some evaporate and put it into dropper bottles

It is actually super easy to use in recipes, towards the end you can add it and the alcohol evaporates out from the heat.
Using the tincture sublingually is a little intense in my opinion , I'd rather mix it with a little juice or something in a shot glass.
