Hi guys does anyone have experience ordering cree cobs from Chan sam shenzen glow shop from alibaba ?'

You dropped an h in the name Shenzhen. Never heard of them but it looks like they are an actual company. http://glow.en.alibaba.com/

But not a real big company:

thanks sanjuan this is my first order over alibaba so i ask , shenzhen glow got little cheaper prices then Kingbrite , but what is safe is safe ill go with jerry on kingbrite .

I've used them........ I was ordering 100 CXA3070 and well the price was fine. I paid they told me that someone else beat me to them after 2 weeks.... I did order other stuff from them fine but that kinda ticked me off.

So you pay over pay pal or ?? how much is order travel to you?

they told me they only had the cxb3070 AD bin for 31 bucks

cutter is the cheapest place to get the CXB 3070BB right now(32$) with PLC 2nd($36ish from memory)

It was the first time I paid paypal tax!?!
Normally it is the seller who pay the tax...and it is 2.4% for shop who make more than 2500 $ month If I remember well...I guess it is not allowed in FR even EU to make the customer paid paypal tax and they could be ban from paypal!
Someone can confirm!??

Same in US seller pays. I bought from Jerry in the past, but I think I will go through PLC now, and if theres something he doesnt have Ill get it from Cutter.
Im not mad at Jerry, he told me the fees, I have buyers remorse now though with $40 shipping on 6cobs

I ordered only 4 cob and 4 holder with china post option...I paid 216 $(cxb were 48.50 $!...now 45 $!)
Next time I will take 10 plus 2 hlg...itnis the cheapest this way...4 3500ºk cd 4 4000ºk db and 2 hlg-240-1400b...it will be 5 instead of 4 on the hs...so 200x165x35...8x6.6x1.4 with a 120mm fan @4.5v on each...or maybe a 80mm would be enough...I think so!
So 5, in the 3.5*3.5 & 9 in the 4*4!
14 cxb @1400mA...770w...for 1000gr!..
Now I have to wait...but I really need to make a vegg panel too...I only have 96w of t5 and some blurple...I want a 5000ºk or 6500ºk vegg panel!...lol!
I guess I will make it in 2 time...and try cxa2530 @500 & v18 @700...11 cxa on an hlg-185-500b would be perfect

i am using the cxa2530 as a veg light

at 450mA its 50% eff so no complaints

The one I saw are 56% @500mA
And I guess cxa 2530 are 11.50 $ in kb!
And @The Dawg is right it is possible to vegg and bloom under 3500ºk no problem...but it is very useful to have a vegg room and a vegg light to vegg during bloom and save time and have more crop...

im using 4000k u2 bins

and yeah i just have those on a separate driver to save lecky

when i flip the big cobs come on (as well)

Careful buying things from Chinese vendors, they can screw you over and there is nothing you can do to recover anything. The Shenzhen plant is well known but still be weary.
