I looked at the pics and saw some white dots on a leaf in pic number two. Have you checked for spider mites? I know the dots are larger then usual but you could have several egg sacks under there. Those dam things cause all kind of trouble. Aside from that have you checked your pH in your soil?

Finally, some pics similar to what I see under 2-600W hps. (minus the dotz)
Can you take some shots w/neutral lighting? Not sure what/why but will be very interested in the verdict.
How long have these been in flower? (assuming they are)

I looked into the thrips. I take pride in my room and clean it like crazy. I never suspected i'd have a pest problem. If i did i thought i'd see visible signs.(eggs, infestation, ect..) So every once in awhile i noticed a black gnat here and there and guessed it was just random, didnt even think of it being an adult thrip. i'd have to say your right on. I'll give it a spray of a light soapy garlic water. Thanks for the info. I'll post some pics soon for future reference.

it also looks like the light is to much for just that plant. try moving the plant(s) with the leaves curled up and then see if that helps

Take one of them and flush the shit out of it. I would say that the levels of salts built up in the soil could be at a toxic level, if not that its to much nutrients. Either way a flush will help correct the problem. I would use at least 5 gallons of PH 6.5 water.

I flushed a few of them to see if that would be the fix as well as moving the light up a bit . My ph is know around 6.3 still to soon to show any recovery signs but if any of those proposed solutions are the caused i should see something here in a couple of days. I'll send some pics ur way tommorrow. Thanks for your responses.

Could be fungus gnats? Left alone, a bad infestation can ruin a grow thru the roots. The larva live in soil. It's a watering too early (before soil dries enough) thing.
To check for fun-gnats, place slices of raw potato on the soils surface. Wait a while, then lift the piece and check for larva. FGnats larva are drawn to the potato. IF this is what it is, discard the slice(s) and replace until potato comes up clean 3 times in a row?
Adjust watering schedule to ensure top always dries out rather quickly, as adult gnats lay in wet soil.
If you flood one of your planters, you can actually see the little boogers squinkin' around in the water (on top)
Good luck.

IMO i think you may have a plant disease. I am dealing with rust right now and it is no joke. I have to spray almost every day to keep it under control. I notice a lot of pics that look like disease issues on RIU and everyone always says pH. If you are using Earth Juice properly and exclusively you shouldnt have to worry about pH. I know it sounds crazy but when its all organic the pH will adjust itself. EJ fulvic and humic acids are pH conditioners. Google "plant Rust" and compare the pics to what you have and i think you might see some similarities. Also the diseases usually start in the flowering period b/c the plant is weaker in this stage. If you are trying to stay organic you can pick up some Serenade Garden. OR you can use a milk and water solution to keep it from spreading. If that still doesn't work there are garlic and baking soda recipes online. Right now the disease is sucking all your nutrients out so i wouldn't flush anymore. Check your ventilation. And do not spray in the middle of the day, either morning right when the lights go on or right before they go off. I like to spray at night (they seem to react better and its also when new rust spots appear). I am rotating sprays but i have had the most success with the milk spray. Good Luck!!

I've only ever seen thrips do that to a plant but I hope I'm wrong. The white spots are where the buggers just drink the sap right out of the leaf.
As with all parasites, you are providing a perfect environment for them to just sleep, eat and reproduce, so getting rid is very difficult.
Thrips will cause havoc with your yields so the easiest solution is to destroy eveything and start a new grow elsewhere. If that isn't an option (and even if it is) you really need to know where you got the bugs to start with. With thrips it is probably either from an infected clone/cutting or from a friend who has visited an infected grow recently. They also seem to show up in outhouses near land cultivated for fruit/food.
I guess my approach would be to use a neem product like genius oil to spray & water the plant and also buy some kind of predator bugs. Thrip predators would be my choice as they have the right kind of name to suggest a good outcome. The predators will take a month to build up a colony before they become effective, so spray neem and use it to water your plants in the meantime (alternate with food).
I also notice that they seem to do less damage to plants closest to the fans, so maybe if you can get a cyclone going on in there it will help minimise the damage.
Good luck.

I dont see bugs on the reg. It s just some isolated occurances. One at a time and little black guys with wings but easy to just pinch. they just wait for you to smash them they dont make much of a effort to get out of the way. I have some plants that are doing great but a different strain. Its just getting to the sweet tooth for some reason. I'lltry the potatoe trp see what i find i'll get back to you on that. Thanks

Researching the pics on plant rust, i do see some similarities. I spray with bottled water (tap water here is super clorinated) never tried the milk. What percent do u use with the milk. Thanks for the info on the Earth Juice and the idea of plant rust. will show the updates.
