Radio Shack sells pocket microscopes for like $12 that are 60-100x. A lot of people have trouble using them, but once you get used to them it's no problem.

great for what it is, but after using it, I would say that 30x is the bare minimum. It works, but it's difficult to get good trich detail. i'll try and get a pic.

This is through the jeweler's loupe. but it's also a camera phone under the hps so i can definitely get in there a lot better with the ol' retina. i will have to invest in something like lime has one of these days. that $11 amazon deal looks pretty sweet.

if you take a sample cut off of a small leaf and take it out, from under the hps, you will see trichomes allot clearer.

yup....name brand items always cost more!
and it was the only MJ "shop" that i could find up here, at the time i needed it...so still supporting the cause ...sort of speak..ha
