All my plants have Buds growing out of the leaves!!!!!!

Hi guys/girls.

I am a newbie here (to this forum). I do frequently use a similar site and have got a simillar thread going there.

Found this site so i thought i would regester here and post this new thread (as well as others i am sure) to see what response i get.

Heres the deal. My five indoor girls are 33 days into flower. Shortly after they showed me their flowers, i noticed buds forming from the palms of the fan leaves. This has happened with this strain before when i grew it from seed years back.

Now, this is not happening on one or two leaves, this is like all over the five plants (they are all sisters).

I dont know!!!!, tell me what you think!!!!, have you all seen this before???. Any feedback would be good as i can compare the advice from you guys to what i have had on the other site.

bilbo, what strain is that? Only time I've ever seen that happen is after topping the plants too late into veg.

Not sure. I got the seeds some 15 years back from a vacuumed sealed bag of the dankiest shit i have ever smoked. I have grown the same shit ever since> She always gives me a dozen or so seeds at harvest. I am thinking it may be from Thai genes as on this latest grow, i saw and removed some male pollen sacs. I am now sort of kicking myself now as theses might be why i got the seeds in the past. No more pods have formed so now i am worrying

if you destroyed its ability to reproduce the seeds that isn't a problem...just clone it and get seeds off the next ones

Owe, that was a detail i forgot to mention. Cuttings have been taken and are being kept alive in a DWC system ready to be put straight to flower when the mothers are finished.

Well. Right now i have five plants going and have a bunch more clones. Next grow i want to try the SOG method. Unfortunatly, this will mean i will need to drill out the channels top lid to get more sites going for the clones. I am up in the air about it right now. I am not sure what will yield most- keep em small and flower or use less and let em grow (like what i ahve got now)

We will see. But getting back to the flower out of the leaf action, i am thinking i am gunna pluck one of those leaves off and either dry it and smoke it or eat the mudda fucker right there and then, LOL

I've just spent 20 minutes looking through my old pics, I had a plant do that quite some time ago, but it was only like a couple of calyx's that were bursting out the fan leaves leaf joint (I couldn't find the pic, will keep looking and if I can will post). Quite cool, but not on the scale you got there.

Its been good to have such a good response already from this site (i think i will be a regular here now). Thanks DST and if you can get some pics, that would be great. In the meantime, i will try to get some better/more pics of these budding leaves.

What has been more interesting about all this, is that i am getting an abundance of Trich development on the sun/fan/shade leaves that support these small buds.

I am 33 days in to what i expect a 9 weeks flowering cycle so its gunna be a good show from now until then, LOL.

I don't think I have never seen anything like that before. Did you treat/modify the plant in any way? Do the leaves fall off (with the bud) in late flowering in your previous grows? Any I hope you keep posting pics as she develops - fascinating!

No. Nothing special about this grow. The plants are 71 days old total, 33 of which on a 12/12 lighting regime. The lights have been constant during this time with no freaky interuptions/changes or what not. They are grown in a 4 x 2 area closet. The system i use is an NFT which they quite like. I am sure that this obsene behavior is genetic. At the moment or actually, from the begining they have been going great. Hope they finish as good!!!

ill bet those trimmings fan leaves and all would make some killer hash
