All out of rooting gel!!

Ok here is what I was wondering, I need to take clones tommorow to put into my aeroponics cloner. I went and checked on my clonex gel that I always use and it has gone bad! My local grow shop does not have any in stock. Home dumpo by me has powder, Has anyone used powder in there system and has it worked ok?

i think it is a bad idea to use powder products in an aero system.

I wouldnt advise using any powder thru a sprayer nozzle even if you dilute it with warm water or whatever, it would work to root the clones, yes, but if you do it, be sure to check the nozzles every day to see if they are clogged shut.

Just my thoughts, I actually use aero and DWC, found that all that paranah stuff and etc is not good in powder form and will cause problems somewhere down the road unless you are OCD about cleaning but then I don't know how good cleaning products are on your plants roots, and if you are going to but cleaning products you mite as well order the liquid clonex online.


Also, Asprin has a lot of the active ingredients as the cloning powders, it is dirived from the willow tree. PM me, I could scan u a good artice from a mag i have if you want to know more.

would you recommend a wetting agent like Wet Betty or that CoCo Wet stuff?

I couldnt see anyone just dumping that in their rez. I have 3 brands laying around and dont see any directions on any of them for adding to a hydro res. just says dip the clone stem in the powder.

Interested on your experience with this too as I have a 25 site lil areo cloner. I have used the liquid solution to root, I have also used NO cloning solution and had rooted clones, no problem. some just took longer (different strains)
