All Presidents LIE

It is an interesting idea, I guess, in the fact that this happens constantly and yet everyone expects the truth.

Here are some of my favorites lately. Please feel free to tell your lies here, also. :)

"No more secrecy. That's a commitment I'm going to make to you as president. No more secrecy."

"The Affordable Care Act is not a tax."

“I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody.”

"Obama said “. . . you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith . . .”

In 2008, the Associated Press obtained Obama's Indonesian grade school registration which, when translated into English, identifies him as an Indonesian citizen.

“I’m in this race to tell the lobbyists in Washington that their days of setting the agenda are over.”

Now some Bush lies.

"I gave diplomacy every chance to work."

"For all the difficulties that followed, America is safer without a homicidal dictator pursuing WMD and supporting terror at the heart of the Middle East,"

George Washington

'I cannot tell a lie.'
(Evidence suggests, however, that the entire tale may have been bogus from the start.)

The report offers substantial evidence linking all 42 presidents to deliberate acts of deception and dishonesty. Among its assertions are that Thomas Jefferson lied about impregnating one of his slaves; Ulysses S. Grant deceived Congress regarding his role in the Whiskey Ring scandal; Ronald Reagan intentionally withheld key facts in the Iran-Contra Affair; Warren G. Harding told untruths during the Teapot Dome scandal; James K. Polk, Martin Van Buren, and Chester A. Arthur fibbed about the details of trade pacts; and Franklin Pierce was less than forthcoming regarding details of the Kansas-Nebraska Act.

If George Washington were president, I'd be able to sleep easier at night. I prefer members of the military later on becoming elected officials. They understand the value of a life....
Except for John McCain. He has never seen a country that is not worth invading. Don't get me wrong, McCain is a true war hero, and has sacrificed a great deal for our country. But as a politician the man is worthless, a complete idiot.

War hero? I think that's not a term I'd apply to him, what did he do that was heroic? How is a guy from an invading country a war hero? Did he stop the Viet Cong from swimming thousands of miles to the USA, hiding under your bed and then stealing all your rice krispies?

My Dad, Air Force, says he is a fuck up. :) McCain was in theater because of two things. His dad had the pull and everyone wanted him pushed out of the country being he is such a wild man. Dad can go on and on about the dirt on him.

Then the incident itself, he was hot-dogging out of the AO, into known SAM country for a reason still not admitted to by anyone.

After his capture however, he rose to the occasion and took the beatings and worse and never let them talk him into using his daddy to get him out early. He denied the enemy that under almost un-endurable stress. See the movie Hanoi Hilton. The air pirates left in the order they came in and not by some position of birth. That was credited to now, Senator John McCain.

He doesn't allow anyone to call him a war hero. It is something else.

Of course they lie. Their job is to win the popularity contest in the general election and then follow the instructions of the military industrial congressional complex. I suppose we can add big banking to that trio. The people are not and never have been in charge. But hey, at least we get to pick the face of our masters every four years.
