All TDS meters the same??

Buying my first TDS meter. Vast cost difference. If I buy cheap to begin, anything I need to know 'bout using cheap vs. expensive.?????
And does cost matter THAT much, or just ability to read properly..???

I don't know about expensiv PPM meter but i know for sure that the nutradip i have is going around 90$ new in most shop and works great.

You get what you pay for. Generally you can get a good meter for home gardening for around $70-$100.

More expensive ones generally have:

Better resolution and tighter tolerances (10PPM resolution 1% tolerance or lower)

The ability to compensate for temperature changes

The ability to change the conversion factor or switch between standards

The ability to calibrate so the meter is always accurate

Replaceable electrodes. So you don't have to buy a new pen every time the electrode wears out.
