Well Ok so i have two plants ive been doing great so far i have my feet in the water (PUN INTENDED) due to my last job working on an organic farm. Like I said first time grow so I am not using no nutrients no anything just distilled tap water a stealth grow box (30 gal tupperware) a cfl 5000k light i am also using SCROG to keep the plants low and bushy but high yields. Now i want to order more seeds but idk what are some good nutes and soil cause i easily can spend 130 buck on FF TRIO and FFOF, I am alll about soil grow so soil experts welcomed. I think i have a bit of green thumb here are my plants now there bag seeds so idk if they are fem, male or a tranny is it to soon to tell??. Thanks In Advance for all the advice.:leaf::leaf:

Won't be able to tell until you switch to 12/12.

No expert here so i'd rather not throw in my 2 cents and give you wrong information or tips.
This community has plenty of well read growers who have tons more of experience that will surely help you

Good luck friend :3

I have read a heap on cheap and complete nutes for soil, although they aren't organic i would definately suggest Jack's Classic "Dynamic Duo" (Blossom Booster and All Purpose)

Nice and cheap and the results I have seen are great, Heaps of happy growers :D

It looks like they could use a feed soon anyhows! as for soil to choose man I really don't know haha!

Good luck bud!

your plants thus far look good.
i would complete this grow before you move on
You can go ahead and get the seeds or just hold off. Up to you.
It doesn't appear you got perlite in your soil, when transplanting I strongly advise you to add some.
Don't use miracle grow perlite it's so fine when you water it floats to the top making it pointless.
fox farms trio, and ocean forest are both good choices.
you can't tell sex until they are mature
a couple ways is to keep vegging until they show, or put your lights to 12/12 and force them to show.

I don't see a scrog and they aren't looking bushy. I was going to say you need more light, get it closer, or something.

You have to decide on a nuted soil or a neutral one. You can get promix pretty cheap. i mix up my blend of stuff. I go to a farmers supply place and get 20 gal bags of perlite and vermiculite pretty cheap. Peat moss can be found anywhere. I also add in some cheap potting soil that has compost so there is a little something to it.

I much prefer having control over the nutes versus a soil with them in. I first tried out FF trio and didn't care for it, bit some of that had to do with the watering system I was using and how they would coagulate in a bucket. i switched to dynagro, not organic, and have not looked back, which is ironic because I keep an organic kitchen.

I am one year in on growing. In another year, with stockpile for error, I want to convert to organics, brewed teas, etc. But for now, i am focused on simple and improving my techniques outside of that. When I convert and start mixing up a witch's brew, if I run into probs I want to be confident I know the cause.

hey scoob, I'm in agreement with GrowinDad in recommending you get additional light. I would also like to see you grow in an opaque container vs the one I see in these photos...perhaps when you transplant you can make the switch. Hope things work out for you, keep reading up in here.

scoob, I apologize if I sounded rude, wasn't the intent, was just being direct. And honestly, everything I said holds more true with the last pics.

You can't do two plants in one pot.

First grow is for learning so no worries, but don't expect much off this one and make improvements to your setup before going for #2. More light and Better soil/ nutrition for starters.
