The embarrassing part is I got this from a "dispensary" here in Michigan. You would think a business whose only job is to sell weed, would have decent product!!

Disagree. First off, I've never smoked this particular strain, so I had no idea what it's "supposed" to look like. Second, there are some strains of marijuana that have some what of a poor bag appeal, but are in fact excellent smokes ......... and the opposite is true as well. Some bags look really nice, but the high is less than great.

man you say you can look at a bud and tell what kind of effects it gives,man i have never ever in my 35 years have i seen that done,not saying you cant,just saying never seen it before.
 
I've seen bud that could easily be in a high times centerfold, and it was complete garbage. Then I've seen bud that looked like complete shit, end up being amazing.
 
some of the best weed i've ever smoked was in puerto vaillarta mexico.
it was clumsily trimmed, but it was some kind of mexico jungle sativa that fucked you up.
no seeds. nor was it pressed.
got about .8 of an ounce for $20.
from a guy selling hotel packages by the beach downtown.

this why i get excited when someone pulls out some fluffy, airy homegrown. some of the best weed i've smoked has been very un-pretty.

that is not what i said at all my friend. i'll explain what i meant a little further (break it down for you). what i meant was, when i walk into a club and there are 15 strains in front of me.... im not gunna pick the bamm bamm lol. pick the nug up, break it open, smell it. LOOK at it. is there THC all over the bud? i know good weed when i see/smell/feel it.

Actually she was in her 6th week, got my shit confused. That plant is gorgeous for what I had to work with which was zero$$$, I bought a 150w HPS/MH for my next project, this was my first so I get a "noob" pass from all insults. What part of NorCal are you from by the way?
