Okay, so I'm 18 days from seed into my first indoor grow. This is under a 600w hps enhanced spectrum bulb. I have a few concerns I'd love some help with. This is in FF happy frog with 30% perlite added. Just started ferting with FF Grow Big yesturday.

1) First how is the size looking for 18 days?

2)One of the plants is very light green in color. The new growth looks a bit darker after adding the fert, but the lower leaves have some dead/burnt spots on the very tips and some of the edges. What might be causing this?

3)The plant all the way to the left has some necrotic spots on the first set of leaves. I had to do some surgery early on as one of the seed caps got stuck on the seedling. When I removed it I killed one of the embriotic leaves. Could this have caused the weird leaf?

First pic is of the plant with burnt tips..this is my largest concern. Second is to give an idea of the size. Thanks in advance guys. I know you'll have answers!

I dont grow from seed usually and ive never tried an organic soil like happy frog(i use soilless mix) but i would assume theres enough nutes in the organic soil to feed your baby's a few weeks longer....... Adding extra fertilizer on top of that seems over kill but plant diagnoisis is diffenetly not my thing and im only going off what you said not the pics because i cant tell by the pics for the reason i just stated, haha.

To me they all seem to have nice shape to them not lanky or stretchy.....they are diffenetly indica dominate........

Be careful adding liquid nutes at this point... very careful. That soil is already hot... However, looking at color, it needed something. What is your PH?

MMM PH is about 6.6, HOWEVER I'm using a brand new Hanna meter, and I'm not sure on the calibration since they don't include the damn solution with the tester!!!! Pissed me off alittle now I gotta wait for that to come in. I have 4 days before the solution gets in...is there a quick fix to testing the PH like right now instead of waiting? I have some PH kits for my pool and stuff, but I don't know if they'd work the same, and I'd probably have to test the run-off becuase there is no way I could test the actual soil with them. What should run off be at?
I did germinate them first of course, but this is 18 days after planted with just the taproot.

2 of them are Cream Caramel and 1 is White domina. I have 3 more starting under different conditions, but I'll get some pics for you guys on those later...so far they are fine.

The light green is what was most concerning for me...it seemed like N deficient, thats why I started the fert. As stated I THINK the new greowth is looking alot better. After adding fert but we'll see in a couple of days. I did springle just a tiny tiny bit of wood ash on the one that had the spots, becuase I thought possible K problems, but I only did literally a pinch until I can test the PH correctly and be sure its not PH.

One more tad of info.....humidity was a bit low due to a cold front blowing and and my heat running. I went and grabbed a humidifier and I got it up to about 36%...but for at least 2 days it was around 20%. Just thought I'd add that. Since posting the one seems to maybe be reacting to the wood ashe a bit and getting some healthy looking growth out of the top...could it jsut have been K deficient?

Oh and also...I did a half dose of the FF Grow big because of the early fert...hopefully that won't over-do it.

The yellowing of the lower leaves is now present in all of the plants...my PH is 6.8 tested with capsule test AND the hanna meter. I don't get it, not only are they yellowing more, but the tips are burning further in. Little tiny tiny patches of necrotic spots have been popping up in various places, rust colored. Any ideas?

thats a bummer wish i new more about deficiences so i could help you more.......I like to use Sunshine Mix(soilless mix) because its a blank slate and i can control exactly what i put in and not have to wonder if its the soil or what im adding to the soil......
