It’s funny it’s the same company or the parent company of the company the other two dings bats were promoting. Only difference is the light isn’t the spyder clone.

He's full of shit. Anybody else that tries the same with the same light is going down fast.
If he tries to continue sharing info about his great deal he'll become this weeks entertainment.
 
Ok first I’m not here trying to promote anything, second I am a straight up Person that is trying to be honest so you all do t think I am dumb enough to purchase a 2800 dollar light. I am telling the truth not promoting, being real and you all want to talk shit go ahead man. I have no reason to lie about anything and if I was promoting something i wouldn’t do it here.... lmao

Whatever man...... I did say that I paid 2800.00 for the light that’s because I gave up my commission I could have received for the light. So that’s paying for the light right? Gee you people are rough man. Makes me think you all are here to stir shit up and make a newbie fail. I really don’t need you guys as you all seem like dicks to me. First its " I paid for"
then its "Referral kickback"
and now "its commission"

I was in sales most my life and am well aware of all those three things and how they work.

My take on all of this is you did indeed pay for the light. Are embarrassed by paying so much for the light and don't want to look like an idiot who paid to much for the light so are making excuses.
None of us want to make a newbie fail...Have a look at all the help threads for proof. What we don't need is bullshit.

Again I live near the " house address" in Downey and sent multiple emails for shits and giggles , but NEVER A REPLY.

Any fool that pays $2800 for ANY LIGHT deserves egg on their face.
Any 6 - 9 cob rig ( like timber or even a DIY COB ) would decimate that trash.
They load DATA and GRAPHS to impress but that can be obviously faked.
300watts for $2800 dollars ... Do the math .... Jesus it's pulling like a VIPAR / Mars light.

I have seen lights that are trash and I have seen lights that are def legit and the only thing that separates them is money. I am.one of those people who spent alot on my light and it's awesome and I love it but it is an actual good light that is currently producing some nice nugs. You have to do an obsessive amount of research to seperate the good shit from the bullshit.

Right on, except money is not the only factor that separates lights! I grew up learning about LED's in electronic engineering school 25-30 years ago. I still had to do hours and hours of research into what parts the companies actually used and what spectrum's they are using etc. etc. I finally found one that fit the bill. Only I will not promote this light because the company has horrible customer service and will most doubtedly piss off anyone who buys their product.

Which is very sad because their product is top notch, even built with tier 2 LED chips. Awesome thermal management and very low up front cost. Actual draw is 800 watts on the meter in full bloom. Total cost was $950.

It's not the LED's that people are hating on. It's the majority of the companies that make up data and mislead consumers with their fake claims (like Vipar and Galaxy, etc.). Good companies like Timber, HLG, and a few others I can't think of at the moment are the real ones getting hurt by the lies by the majority of the industry.

Other than reducing heat which many of us overcome or using less power which many of us don't care about how are they better in providing plants the light they need to grow. That's all many of us care about. The light our plants receive.

I totally agree. One should do a good bit of research (not reading reviews) before jumping into any purchase/hobby IME.
