Almost ready!!

I'm so stoked. No more illegal ghetto grows for me lol. I have my room almost finished. Lined the walls with black poly and then mylar 1/2 way up, got new 5g buckets, Fox Farms OF and HF which I plan on mixing 2 parts to 1.

The only thing I didn't get today was perlite. The grow shop only had GIANT bags of it for $25 and I didn't need so much. I thought I could get it at Home Depot but they didn't have it, nor did Wally's.. I guess I'll go up to the city and try Lowes this week. I'd really hate to spend $25 on 10x's more perlite then I need lol.

Now It's just a waiting game on the beans and light to get here. Hopefully this week.

I'll probably still need to get a dehumidifier and definitely some odor control but don't foresee needing that for a month or so..

sunshine mix #4 + OF = the ultimate soil and its gonna cost you 1/3rd the price waaay cheaper then all foxfarm and better drainage you can feed it 1 gallon of water every 2 days in 5 gallon buckets with 5% run off and i dont add any extra perlite just some lime i wouldnt use happyfrog unless you like gnats both of those soils are hot curious why you would want to mix happyfrog with oceanforest goodluck!

Congrats. Try out the local craigslist before you buy the big bag. Sometimes they have partially used bags of gardening supplies on there for cheap, I've even seen some for free.

I think gnats is hit and miss with FF from what I've read. I plan on mixing them because HF has some good microbial and beneficial bacteria that is not in OF... I haven't heard of FF soils burning up any plants.. Unless someone is trying to start seedlings in it. Where are you getting this sunshine mix at? I'm open to trying other combinations too, but that will be next grow probably.

You are starting off on the wrong track. If you continue your lust for all kinds of shit to grow the pot for you. You will be at the mercy of your gadgets. In order for you to be done with ghetto grows you must renew your mind as to how you will be growing the marijuana. You do not wanna be a slave in this game.

This is what you need. Earth,fire,wind and water. nutes will help if your earth is not the best.

On a side note... liquid nails doesn't work well on poly..... I'm on my way to get some 1x2's so I can make spots to staple it up now... I hate cement walls...

Not cutting ya down man. I just want you to take a second before you begin your journey to think of everything. Sounds to me like you are startind down a long road of growing marijuana, this is good!

My advise to you is to sit quietly and think of where you wanna go with this. You must think where you wanna be in 3 years and 5 years and 2 years that is all. You must then think of how you will get there. You wanna have a goal before you start beside getting high or it will all go up in smoke.lol

What are you trying to accomplish? what are you doing? who are you doing it for? what does it mean to you? what do you want? who are you? how far are willing will you go? what do you need? who are your friends? There is more to growing marijuana then what meets the eye.

When you have a house full of pot your world usually must change from what it was. I want you to think about the other things that go with the smoke. I want you to know where you are headed before you go. I want you to be more then what I usually see. Lord knows you have the fire "energy".

I was not bashing on you in the last post I posted... a reaction to what I wrote is what I sought.

I just want a garden man... It's good meditation for me. Other than the stress of getting it all setup anyways lol...

I have issues, my humidity is almost 90% down there. I think it's because we have a ventless dryer. So I have another project lol.
