So basically what you're saying is that weed grown in Miracle Gro soil will smoke and taste just as good as weed grown in Fox Farm soil because the chemical fertilizers in the soil that feed the plant are not actually INSIDE the plant??...in essence the idea of ORGANIC GROWING is pointless because as soon as you chop whether chemical or natural the fertilizer is no longer inside the plant. I am so glad that God gave me the chance to be educated by such educated growers, I really appreciate the insight because I have never heard such horticultural genius.
Actually it is you saying that
And the whole secret about miracle grow is that canna specific nutrient companies want a monopoly
Plenty of good weed can be grown with miracle grow
Organic growing is preferred
Whats inside the plant stays inside the plant
Flushed or not

EDIT:
One last thing :hug::hump:

You can flush your medium, you can't flush a plant.
If you leave nothing in your medium it weakens your plant and it's processes.
Will a plant last through two weeks of just water?
Absolutely.
It does not make it taste better or get stronger however.

If what's inside the plant stays inside the plant flush or not why do the leaves turn yellow during a flush?? There were nutrients inside the plant that kept the leaves green before...WHERE DID THEY GO?? SMH...but what do I know??...

They stopped being supplied to the plant making the plant have deficiencies (not using up left over nutrients)

regardless of nutrient choice a plants roots can only uptake nutrients in IONIC form.

the plant can’t differentiate synthetic IONS vs organic IONS.

To the plant an ion is an ion.

Try some Google fu about removing ions from plants.

thank you lol.

I agree with you 100%. You can't flush a plant, you can only flush the medium but by flushing the medium you force the plant to use up the residual nutrients left inside the plant itself. Once they are gone the plant begins to fail but who cares because the plant has completed it's life cycle anyway, all you are left with is a plant with greatly reduced levels of nutrients (fertilizer) inside of it.

They stopped being supplied making the plant have deficiencies...EXACTLY!! That means the plant is burning or using the nutrients that I put in it, so common sense tells me that if I stop adding nutrients then the plant will eventually run out of nutrients and show deficiencies. THAT IS WHY I FLUSH...I DO NOT WANT TO SMOKE NUTRIENTS, I WANT TO SMOKE THE PLANT.

Not true.
Plants store waste (and nutrients) in their leaves.
Leaves are expendable. They fall and nourish the next round of life.
As cannabis cultivators, we remove the leaves anyway.
With flushing you're just going to watch leaves die, not improve your bud.
Lots of science out there about plant waste.
Interesting stuff.

Plants store waste and nutrients in their leaves. Very true. Leaves are expendable? As cannabis cultivators we remove the leaves anyway? Well let me ask you this, what does a "bud" consist of?

If you smoke any part of the plant flushed or not in your terms you would still be smoking nutrients.

as you cannot remove nutrients from a plant once they have entered.

regardless of how many times you use capital letters. Lol.

Nope not the case.

have you read any of the flushing myth busting documents?

you honestly sound like you’re trapped in 1995.

I bet you still use CFL’s to flower with lol.

Think of it this way: How does leaf compost work? The leaves are dead. But they still have nutrients in them.
There's really no way to get rid of all the nutrients in a plant.
The best way is not to put too much in from the get go.
Half strength nutes is all my plants ever needed.
So I'm already 50% "flushed" before harvest.

Yeah. That's exactly what I thought you would say..."MOSTLY".
Yes mostly.
If you harvest too early you'll have a higher leaf to calyx ratio.
Harvest properly and you'll have a higher calyx to leaf ratio.

I like this debate ... it's a good one.
But in my experience, flushing does not do what you think it does, or want it to anyway.
Try both ways on a same run. I've done it. With clones. Same environment. No difference.
