Aloe vera with citric acid

I have been reading about the benefits of aloe vera on cannabis plants. I plan on growing my own but in the interim I can get some aloe vera juice from Walmart whose only additive is .02% citric acid. This should be fine for my plants, correct?

Also, have any of you bought aloe vera powder off Ebay? There are two sellers from India I was looking at that have great reviews.

Aloe Vera can be a rooting ( clone ) alternative to rooting gel ..... but what are you seeking to get from adding it to your plants.

I would look into Kelp instead

It is supposed to help with root development, biodiversity, and it has a lot of micronutrients.
