Alright what gives

Hello all,

I am not writing this for arguement sake. I just find it very difficult to understand these guys' logic (brothers). They insist that the small buds are more potent than the full sized buds. I mean, yeah when growing. you can score a fairly good headstash with the popcorn at the bottom. They are the type who charge for the sandwich baggie. I guess in their minds', I am the one who doesn't know shit. ALWAYS a few points off, I wouldn't be PO'ed if it was off (like this-->1g = .06) on a larger amount. I have wanted badly to do my own grow for a while, but thoses guys are snitches. Or would rob me blind....I am in the process to get a firearm license....they won't see it coming. I am just preparing myself for the worst. Will they ever know I am growing??? No, they'll never be told (#1 rule, in my eyes for anyone). Hell, one of those fu!kheads was allowed into the house by my father (the only one who knew I had a stash, and was okay with it). The jackass robbed me blind when I went to the city, a qp gone all because my father ignored him. And yes I realise that living at home with a parent(s) is a no-no (growing, personal stash, etc.) but I have no other option right now. I want to register a firearm to resolve the issue permently, but I realise that ain't right.

So what would you ladies and gents do?? I try to keep in mind that they are the only people I know, I want to make sure I have medicine.

I see that ur madd..u prolly were POed when u wrote this..its hard 2 understand thats why u didnt get any replies..what i figure is u have some "friends" and there no good..but u cant survive for now without them correct?...anywho..if ur gonna get a gun license ..think about whats gonna happen the day u have 2 shoot somebody..alot of people think having a gun and pulling it out is gonna slove problems..but then u have others who will pull that trigger..i see u wanna get it for protection but be serious..think about if u really need 2..some places having a gun is second nature..so i kno all about it..but having the gun for no reason is stupid..think about the day u have 2 pull the trigger

I wouldn't have a gun....
I mean, it would be good for protection, but I wouldn't have one b/c I think it's a little too extreme.
And plus, I have a nephew and a gun is not safe around children at all.

To be honest Silverhaze, I realise that either way I go....it ain't going to change anything. They'd do what they do irregardless of how I handled the situation good or bad. I wasn't worried too much about getting a whole whack of replies asap, I was more concerned about getting some sort of rational thoughts (as it stands, when I wrote, I was venting) being put down. See unfortunately for me, I am just tired of the garbage. If I could get what I asked for I'd be fine. And yeah, a good alternative to my mentality would be, water off a duck's back approach. I just wish there was decent people I knew.

Blazin', I promise you I don't ever want to give gun owners' a bad name. There are a lot of responsible people out there that use it as a last resort (hopefully). I am just frustrated that's all

I do agree 100%, read the reply I made to SilverHaze. Children and guns are never a good combo.

The only time guns aren't good around children is when your naive and uneducated. You know what really isn't good around children? Illegal marijuana grows. Hypocrisy is a bitch. If you keep it in a gun safe with the gun special hex key locked so it is 100% inoperable they aren't. But what good is a gun when it's locked up. So I guess the best approach is to EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN ON GUNS AND GUN CONTROL! I was educated and have yet to point a gun around and be stupid about it. Never use a gun as a surprise or a tool. Its only your life or death scenarios with a burner. Period.

guns not being safe around children is b/s. TEACHING them is everything. now im not saying leave guns out so they can see it and shit. integration used to be a "dangerous" thought, but now we know better because we are taught so. kids aren't all dumb, some actually are bright. i can say this because my dad had a .38 special my whole childhood. when i got old enough he taught me about it and i even fired it and the rest is history.

Teaching them is key, but here is where my problem lies. If the kid is one of those "wild" types who think a gun is a toy, and his/her parents' just let it happen. Funny how those parents' walk a fine line. Then all of the sudden, they seem shocked when the kid goes on a rampage. Too many people (sadly) ignore the warning signs. And yes I agree completely, once of age (or when the parent(s) deems him/her old enough) education on the matter is very critical.

&&Yes I agree; teaching older children is okay but I'm saying leaving a gun around a 3 yr old is different lol.
I know older kids get like hunting licenses and shit too.
I think it really just depends on age and how mature they are.
B/c young kids don't know what they're doing they are just off the walls doing everything they can do and grabbing everything they can reach before they even talk lol.

i try to stay easy going. but yea i dont advocate leaving any thing out other then toys for a 3 yr old to get to. ill say this, if you can't raise a kid to listen to you, dont get a gun. i know some people that had the most hellacious kid. he would cuss like a sailor, piss in the floor, DESTROY a room, and he's not even in kindergarten. well he might be now, but still, he'd pretty much respect me but there's been times where i just wanted to back hand him. now keeping a gun around him would be bad, which is probably why his grandma let me hold her derringer.
