Alternating From Seed?

I got a seed from a dispensary bud, a Purple Elephant, and it went into alternating nodes immediately. I've never seen a plant do this before. WTF? It has two cotyledons, but the first set of true leaves were in triplicate, not a pair. Never saw that either. Ijust watered it.

Any of you guys see this, or know what's up with my sproutling???

Anyone?

Fucking unnecessary 10 character limit. FAIL
Its a rare genetic mutation that is actually positive for growers.

As for your sig, I'd advise against it. I know off topic.
How do you suppose you move plants out of the area they're in if they are 5-6ft tall and have nearly a lb of weed growing on them? Personally Id be banging them into everything and probably break a few branches from them swinging around.
I don't know how someone could move plants out their growing area unless they're growing autos or small plants.

Just saying =D

I've had that before cant remember what it was now, but it's called ''something poid''. Didn't hurt anything or wasn't better smoke just a mutation for me. Cool thing though with mine was I had 2 mains without topping. 2 nice big colas at the end, so that was a bonus. Not sure if that's typical since I had only that one.

I've only got the one as well. It's cool, a little fucked up I guess. This was advertised as a clone only strain, but I got it out of a dispensary bud.

It's called "Poly-ploid" or "Polyploid", that is the condition of having "extra" branches. As far as having alternating nodes from the git-go - I GOT NOTHIN'.

I have a young plant doing the same thing - it's only about a third the size of a couple of others that were all started together. I was going to pull it out the other day and dump it but I think I'm going to let it run long enough to take a cutting first since I have the space and I'm a little curious. It also has two tap roots.

Are you keeping yours?

I don't think I want to inspect the roots, but at the end of its life, I'll try to remember to exhume them and see. Thanks for posting that, I would not have otherwise considered the root structure.

Guess I have to think "deeper" lol.
