Aluminium Sulfate

I have a bag from using it to make my hydrangea blue. Is there a use for this in a grow?

This is what i found on the web....Aluminium sulfate is sometimes used to reduce the pH of garden soil, as it hydrolyzes to form the aluminium hydroxide precipitate and a dilute sulfuric acid solution.

I am new so thought I'd ask?

if it's used in soil then I see no reason it wouldn't work. just go sparingly, and add more if needed.

if you plan to grow in water, I'd suggest picking up a bottle of phosphoric acid, or going to your local store and see what they have. the store by my house makes their own ph adjusters and sell it dirt cheap ($5/qt). sulphuric acid (aquarium/pool ph down) can mess with certain hydroponic nutes, afaik.
