Aluminum Foil instead of Mylar?

So panda-paper wins between mylar or the foil xD...I guess I'll have to see what my local hydro store carries.

Emergency blankets made of Mylar are cheaper ($1 @ Walmart). They are 4' x 8'. I would like to test your theory. You are right- Personally, I have never used Aluminum Foil to reflect light. No doubt, you are more experienced than I am. I will now make a humble exit from this thread :) ... However, I may come crashing back in saying "Fuuuuuck, my plants lit on fire!"

oh and most hydro stores sell panda by the foot it is completely lightproof and never makes hot spots. i covered my whole room with it and it looks pretty damn clean wouldn't

Again, you can get mylar from Wally-world for a buck... emergency blankets.
