Am i done with vegging?

Here is my plants, they look like what they look like in the pic leaves are dark due to over feeding, tops are yellow due to over feeding. they been like this for weeks already been trying to fix it but it was an intentional over feeding experiment. wasn't a good idea but good learning experience for me anyways.

i live in Hawaii a lot of homes here if any all homes here don't have an attic or a basement. idk why but my dad is a contractor and fixes houses for a living so i got to see a ton of various homes none has them.

thanks for all the input everyone i really appreciate it. i know my grow isn't the best and im sure i have a TON of issues due to the way im growing and lack of information i can provide for myself but slowly im building on my equipment.

if i could keep my lights outside i would but sadly can't trust people around my plants here although i am growing legally people will steal the plants and my grandpa gets pissy over running the lights during the day regardless we do pay our bills.

i just measured my tallest plant that i've been measuring it seems to have grown now. 13" to 14" i think it was the heat i'll be keeping an eye on it but and update if you guys want or if you guys have any feedback let me know

i didn't drastically change anything for the worse besides potting up and turning the fan on a higher speed due to excessive heat
When you up-pot, the plant spends it's energy growing roots rather then vegetative growth. So that slowing of growth is temporary.

i potted up about a little over a week ago. but i ended up just tossing the plants outside let em flower already bought new seeds going to dial in all my mistakes from this grow and see what happens. funny thing is these plants didn't get transplant shock twice since i potted up. i was kind of amazed as i did expect it to get slowed growth but they kept growing like nothing happened. this 3rd grow though im just going to germinate them in the final pots

They look pretty nice! Time will tell. You should try whatever is possible to improve air flow and ventilation. It's a tough thing in your situation, but any is better than none.

Got a medical license? If so, stick it outside. Hawai'i has one of the best climates for growing.
If not, GO GET ONE.

I have heard of people flipping into flower at 3 or 4 weeks.

Don't buy into the bs about 'you have to have this, that and the other thing' adding up to hundreds of dollars.

Remember it is a plant grown for thousand of years without all that gadget crap.

It's not recommended that you sprout seeds in big pots as this can cause fungus to grow. It's best to allow the roots to fill up the smaller pots even to get a little root bound before transplanting.

They don't look too bad I myself if height wasn't an issue would let them veg another week or two.

my mom is the one with the medical license; it's not really an issue for growing outside more so people stealing the plants. we are growing legally under the limit so they can't do anything. my area however gets very little sun per day i tried my first grow and it flowered at 6inches high it had a lot of complications to take into consideration as well since it was my first grow and yea i do plan to grow both outdoors and indoors due to our climate.

like people have stated though air flow/ventilation is a major issue for me until i get better equipment thus why i stuck my plants outside and see what will happen. if they flower they flower if not it's even better but i got more seeds coming in so im not worried. yea the plants don't look super bad tbh just the growth rate had slowed considerably which worried me and besides the whole over feeding stuff they would likely look nicer i bet.

as for next grow not sure what i will do to start them i mean i germinate via paper towel method which works great for me then this time i went into solo cups which also worked great into 2gals then into 5gals where they are at now except for 1 plant. might do the same see no reason why not to but saving money on pots due to cycling constantly from 1 grow to the next but i only need to purchase 1 more pot

Lethidox, I recently read an article written by Mr. Greengenes who developed alot of famous strains. In the article he said that those cheapie plastic 2 or 3 gallon pots at the nursery are the best. He had a boatload of reasons why. The great thing is that they only cost a dollar or two. He especially liked getting the trays that go underneath. He said if you watch when you water that the tray will fill up after watering and then the plant, when it needs it, will suck it up. He said he got results similar to the hydro people doing this.

yea that is what i do i don't let it sit in water though after about 20 minutes whatever is left i remove don't want the water sitting there all stagnant. i dont get a lot of run off though maybe about 2 cups max per plant

1. No i don't PH i used to but i was using the PH strips at first i did it all the time but it kept reading low PH and when i added nutrients it seemed to go up to a range where i liked it. I was also testing a theory i had that our water was fine for PH as i did some research state claims our water runs 7.0 when i tested with strips it wasn't 7.0 it was lower around 6.0 when i added nutrients it was 6.5 after this grow i WILL be getting a PH pen matter of fact i was actually gonna go to the gardening store today to buy one as i do plan to use it for my next grow but hell i can use it now even.

2. fresh air via outside through my windows only. if i am home i will open the closet door for about 5 hours per day then the rest of the day i close it so it does get some air but it's more heavily restricted.

3. besides for all my stupid little experiments i did on this grow like intentionally over feeding they seem alright. they are dark green and showing signs of nitrogen toxicity ( this seemed to stop ) some of the bottom foliage is turning yellow i am lost at whether it is because it is old, it is getting no light, or due to lack of feeding nitrogen for the past few weeks or even nitrogen toxicity ( looks like nitrogen deficiency to me though )

4. yes i just bought a timer yesterday.

im using King Plus 2000watt. tried looking up actual draw for these but i don't see anyone testing the actual draw so im basing it off what i found online which people claim 375, 385, company claims 392. they should still be growing though the plants are only about a 13 inches tall but very bushy from topping and LST
A ph pen is pretty great, after testing runoff and acclimating my feed to that it really boosted my rate of growth.
Is this your own home?
Would you be willing to drill out a 4 inch hole in the top of the door and add a 20$ inline duct booster to bring in fresh air?
Plants can drop c02 levels significantly in small enclosed areas!

The feed can be high but nutrients may be unavailable at improper ph ranges!

How far do ya keep that LED?

Heck I have tomato plants in my grow room that sit in solution all the time! Some are just in Kratky jars others rubbermaid tubs with bubblers! All seem to be rockin it! I may even try growing weed like this! I will have lettuce in jars soon! It's a nice method cuz they don't take up much space, produce like crazy ( so it seems?) and can be easily moved around. Oh, you don't have to do much once they have solution in em, just check periodically.

not my home but my grandparents home. it's just a big house and the entire lives in it kind of like a town house and we share rent and all that. No i can't drill holes in my door i could if im willing to replace said door but that would end up costing me more money i would think. they actually started to grow again this morning when i woke up not sure what it was but i just left the door open all day yesterday. ended up tossing them outside though to finish up felt really bad having to toss 1 plant outside to experiment with seeding so i just tossed them all out and going to start fresh in a few weeks.

i do plan to buy a PH pen i was going to go today but my credit card got shut down something about fraud so im waiting for a new card plus my seeds to come in so by then i should have both. i keep my lights up at 24 inches high 18 inches they get heat stress. i even raised them to 26 inches but that was during the super slowed growth rate.
