Has the history channel completely stopped airing Nazi docs?

Seems now that the only war docs they show now glorify it, e.g., Battle 360, Dogfights, etc.

I'm just sick and tired of Alaska, and truckers on ice. This is all present day happenings on the HISTORY CHANNEL, wtf? Gorram reality TV is everywhere!

The dumbing down just doesn't stop, does it?

Ive got an awesome video collection,with the nazi commerce raiders and a whole bunch of other shit.Being an engineer ive seen their work and its pristine design!!!!

yeah it seems like they did show alot more about the nazis and wwII before....my favorite was high hitler, about how hitler was baxically slamming crystal everyday lol

Of course I don't understand what "Ice Road Truckers" has to do with History.

Yes, the Nazis were quite the perfectionists ... in almost everything they did ... including their eugenics movement. The Nazis and Margaret Sanger had quite a lot in common. :blsmoke:

I can't pin point it, but I really enjoy the show.


This is also coming from the guy who watches 'the two corys.'
No, I don't watch 'the view.' but at this rate I will be soon.



Geeze, football season can't start fast enough.

It's not a bad show, really, it isn't. My roommate watches and I sometimes watch with, but I just think it's funny how they never show anything about Hitler's rise to power with his false flag operation, i.e., the Reichstag bldg. ever since the truth movement has been gaining momentum.

What Bush has been doing for the last 8 years shadows Hitler's rise to power so much that it scares me. But no more Nazi stuff on the History Channel now.

Can't have anyone else putting two and two together ya know.

I thought last years shows were better than this, but I still watch. It has become more about the personalities of the drivers this year. For sure they exagerate the dangers, like "Polar bear on the road". Does anyone think a polar bear is a danger to an 18 wheeler going 25-50MPH? Of course, since I once applied for the job, it kinda holds an interest for me. I also like ax-men, but I never wanted to cut trees.

I drove truck for 10 years.
And Yes a polar bear would really fuck a truck up.
I've seen what a grizzly bear can do to a truck. A guy was going through Montana and hit one and it balled up and it knocked the axles out from under the tractor.

I also saw what a Moose can do to a truck, I was up in Canada and another guy made the mistake of blowing the air horn at the moose. The moose started ramming and kicking the cab and actually knocked the cab loose from the frame.... The poor bastard said that when the moose went off on the truck he hid in the sleeper.
They had to haul the tractor away on a flatbed.

I'm actually fixing to go back to work driving a truck.
The Job will be hauling the water off of oil leases.
As soon as I'm able to pass a piss test, I'll be going in to start the training period.
Which involves learning how their PTO equipment works and hooking up hoses to the tanks.
I also need to go and get another D.O.T. Physical and since I let my CDL lapse I have to take the written test all over again. Once my training period is over I take my driving test.
But I'm not going to walk away from a 60K a year job.
The money these days is working in the oil field.

I'm studying for my CDL right now.. The driving should be the easy part its the whole walk around I'm worried about..So much you have to remember....

The walk around is easy. Just remember to look the whole truck over.
Make sure that all the lights work, don't forget to look at the undercarriage of the truck (shocks, torque arms, springs...) if there is any rust coming from the Lugs that would mean it's loose.
Make sure all tires are aired up and there is nothing stuck between the tires.
Remember when the examiner asks why you do something in the walk around, to answer it clearly.
The last time I had a CDL, I had all the endorsements, this time I'll skip the HAZMAT, it's not required when hauling salt water from oil wells.
If I need it later, I'll them pay $85.00 for the background investigation and pay for the endorsement.

Yeah I think I need my hazmat I wanna haul fuel so I think I need it...But for right now I will use it to haul heavy equipment that we use..Man I just feel silly pointing to the headlights and saying these are the headlights...My boss told me to touch and go through every square inch of the rig and by the time your done with the right side of trailer the instuctor will have heard enough and start you on the inside of the cab...

Your boss is correct, The examiner wants to know that you are familiar with every aspect and every square inch of the truck.

I know that some of it may seem silly, but it's really needed.
You wouldn't believe how many drivers leave the yard with only one headlight.

One thing you have to remember is that you are in control of an 80,000 lb guided missile and you can not be too safe.
Don't feel bad, when I was a company driver, they used to stick me with a lot of new drivers for me to train.
The first thing I would tell them is forget every thing you learned in Trucking School. I'm going to teach you how the real world works in the trucking industry.
