Am i on the Right Track...

Just like yall i love to smoke Piff and i hate the fact that i always have to go out of my way to get some good green so i figured why not grow it.

Since its my first time and im tight on space a closet is all i have to use. its 3' x 3' x 8'
i mean for what im trying to do i think this is enough space for my first grow.

So i was thinkin i would line the walls with mylar....and get a 400W Mh/Hps light and start with about 4 or 5 plants ill hang a fan for circulation and ventilation i'll open the door of the closet for a few hours a day my water will be filtered and im going to be using foxfarm soil and nutes possibly...

The only questions i really have are:
If i order some seeds from across the water will i be straight if i use another name and pre paid visa card and of course another address?
what is the best place to get seeds?
any suggestions or tips would be great

But for my first grow i was thinkin some papaya

not all but 2 strains ...

also on ebay they say the have a mh and hps light and reflector all in one is the real or is it fake?they said all you have to do is switch the bulbs when its time...


But any input would be great im trying to get everything together within the next couple weeks...

You can get a conversion system which will allow you to place either bulb in the socket and have no problems. Make sure you check the lumens the bulbs give off. The higher the better. Do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable ebayer on online hydro store.

I like attitude seeds, they have a good selection and decent prices. I used my real name and address, seeds arrived in a week. I didnt even choose stealth.

I'd say your fine either way

OK i have another ? ive been looking online at feminized seeds are those reliable to get a female every time...bc i dont have a lot of space so i was thinkin about gettin feminized seeds to save some hard ache. my plan was to veg them under the Mh light under a 24/0 until there about a foot or so then switch over to the 12/12 for flowering....since im pressed for space and wont have two lights im going to just veg them all and transfer them all to the Hps at the same time and see what i get....Maybe be the next grow i'll be able to afford some more lights but as of right now i think this ok to me...

fem seeds are reliable.. its the growers that aint reliable. if you take care of the plants, then you wont have a problem, you wont get any hermies.

and yea, you seem like you on the right track. sound like you researched n shit, so you should be fine. read the GROW FAQ and if i was you, i would start a grow journal, keep us updated on your grow and ppl can help you with any problems you might have.

Thnkx for the advice but what could i do with the fem seeds that would make them hermie? Im thinkin im gonna grow 2 strains to start maybe some G-13 haze and papaya...also ive read online that they say some strains yield like 400-500 gs is this mostly true per plant?

messin up light schedules, stress to the plant... bascially if you dont take care of the plant you can turn it hermie.

i never grew those strains, so i cant help you with that. go to the Seed & Strain Review and see if any1 else has grown them.

O ight i got you...yea im a little skeptical about them i was just tryna see if i coud short cut the sexing since im doing all the plants at the same time to get the hang of my first grow...bc its gonna be whack as hell if most of the plants i grow are males...bc im not gonna be able to clone bc i only have one light system for the Mh and Hps light...

Yea i think im going to try one fem strain and one regular just to see what happens. I just dont know what strains i want yet..Ive been reading too much stuff i think to make a decesion.

I think i know what bank im going with tho. i may use 2 but im not sure.

I really like G-13 Haze that joint look crazy
and i think papaya or maybe 8 ball kush

If you have space limitations you should check out the auto flowering plants. I chose them due to the quick harvest and short plants. The light cycle is impossible to mess up since they flower automatically after about 3 weeks. Seed to harvest in 10 weeks. only grow 12-24 inches depending on strain and will produce 1-3 oz per plant if grown right. the auto ak 47 is the best producing auto i have found. 2-3 oz per plant.

word word....well im growing in a closet that is 3' x 3' x 7' do you think like 4 plants of those strains would need more space? i dnt think im going to have more than 6 plants in there with a 400 w Hps /Mh light....i think the Hps has 55K lumens and the Mh 38K lumens do you think that is enough llight for the space and plants??

the only thing bout autoflower strains is the yields aint all that big. autoflowers are better when used in SOG set ups.

but its up to you, try dif things, and find what you like.

Yea i hear sog a lot, but i dont really know exactly what it is or how to really do it so i think for the first time around im going to just stick to FF and lights the more simple route till i get a better feel for it

alright i hear a lot of people say topping there plants and it increases yield....how and when do i actually do this....I was reading another thread and it made his plants grow a couple inches within a few days

OK its almost time.......I know its been a minute since the last postbut this weekend my seeds and lights are getting ordered so hopefully ill have some pics up so yall can let me know what you think.... im going to put pics of my room set up first so yall can help me with anything im doing wrong...
