Am I ready to harvest? - trichomes pics attached

Hello All,
I took these pics from a small sugar leaf in my bud. Yesterday my plants started to look a little scrappy - somewhat like heat stress, leaves stared curling in the bud. I checked all my parameters water, light distance etc. nothing out of normal range.
Yesterday my trichomes looked mostly clear with no amber at 40 power.
Today I got my microscope at 500 power. Looks like things changed in the last day.

Think I am ready to cut? Do I have any time to flush? Just hand watering coco coir.

Feedback much appreciated.

you've gone too far. It this is what everything looks like take it down.

Rule of thumb
Amber is bad
But you don't know its done till you see it
So you want about 20% amber so that 80% is perfect.

Is it possible for amber to start to appear in one day or is it gradually appearing?

The percentage rates they refer to are overall tricomes on the buds themselves. Not individual tricomes.

Its had to say, but yes it is possible that older near finished plants get affected by heat stress more than younger plants. But before you take this to heart, what is goal here, are you thinking of using heat stress to finish off your plants? or are you wanting to solve a heat stress issue that you think is causing your trics to amber too soon?

I want to solve the heat stress issue and finish the plant properly. I think I may have fixed the heat stress, looking little better. Previous to this event these plant could take a heat spell and not blink an eye. So I am guessing the moral of the story is to be more vigilant close to finish?.

if we could see the plant we could tell you about when you are going to finish. Looking at the last pictures you posted i see nothing that would make me think you are close to being done. Post pictures of the plant.
