Am I screwed?

Hey, I started my grow with my light to far away. I now have 5-6 inch skiny stems and their leaves are just starting to grow. day 3 into it I moved my light much closer. It now just looks like there going to be very top heavy and will not support the weight. I know not to stake them yet to let the cellulose build up. Ive been bending them daily to try and strengthen the stems. Will they get thicker?

Add more soil if possible, I had this problem once and I very quickly hit them with some fans, it took a while(and sometimes they completely bent over) but I did manage to strengthen them and those went on to be just fine. They will chase the light to so when they collapse they readjust there direction (with amazing speed it has to be said) of growth.
