They don't need help. That'd why they were able to help in the first place.

I'm spending hundreds of hours helping people and would never think for them to pay me back. That's just wrong.

You have never done this.

No. Long story. Basically i helped a friend. We got charged and should have been a misdemeanor and the cop lied and charged it as a class b felony. I was not aware at the time we were breaking the law. Friend lied to me. It should have never been charged as a felony. Innocent people go to jail all the time.

I get what you are saying though. I wouldn't cross state lines with pounds.

The e-begging thread was specifically designed to pay for a private attorney, rather than have you accept the Public Defender. It's probably still around somewhere, if it hasn't been deleted. But you used the PD, and took the deal. Which is fine. But those people gave money under false pretenses. Since you didn't use the funds for their intended purpose, give it back. They probably are embarrassed they were conned, it's a common reaction.

Moreover, you and your wife never liquidated the silly toys you liked to brag about on here, and rub in the noses of those who couldn't afford them. Accepting "donations" under those circumstances was likewise fraudulent. Give it back.

Scooby is dead. He can't ask for his $5k back. Return it to his estate or his family.

I don't care about your koi pond, that members here probably funded.
