Amber trichomes but it’s only week 6 since the “flip”.

Apologies if I’m in the wrong forum..
Anyway, just about the end of week 6 and starting to see amber trichomes. Both these strains have an estimated 9 week flowering time. Buds are swelling, very sticky and smell great. I always struggle with when I should harvest. Any thoughts out there as to whether I should keep growing a few more weeks or consider harvesting early?

A bit about this run:
1 Crown Royale by Crop King Seeds
2 Pineapple Chunk by Barney’s Farm
Growing in Promix HP and nourished by Gaia Green Organics under the Photontek 465 watt Pro.
Also adding Botanicare’s Pure Blend Tea with each watering during flower.

i see some amber pistils, (the little hairs) but that can be caused by a few things. Are you saying you also scoped the trichomes and they are amber too, or are you getting those two things confused?
Sorry, I should have been more specific. I used my jewellers loupe

Keep them going - keep feeding them ( looks a little hungry ) …. Amber triches are not a true indicator of complete maturity .
Triches grow and die throughout grow . Week 6 means nothing to plant - check back at week 10.

There's one reason not to use trichs as a guide.

Get the plant visibly ready 1st then start looking at trichs to establish what you're after.

Trichs can take a long time to go amber after you see the typical signs of matured.

I don't think the terpiest bud and bestest stone bud are necessarily one, imo more amber = less terps it's more hashy/earthy, milky is more desirable for me for the zesty flavours.
