alrite i saw american beauty last nite on tv and the guy is selling a strain called g-13 and apperntly its the most potent strain out there , i know its just a movie but hey im bored and thought id ask has anyone grown it ? although im pretty sure whitewidow is the most potent. he did say in the movie the government fucked with the genetics and made it that way

I've seen seedbanks say anything from 10%-22%. There are stronger strains than white widow now. There's no regulation in the seed industry so seedbanks can pretty much claim whatever they want. Names and the lore surrounding the strain are pretty effective marketing tools. ;-)

Yes, it is strain. Ive smoked it. Good weed. Had better! Govt thing? Blazay.. Widow used to be the stongest. I think its round 21%

I have a strain from DNA Genetics called Sour Cream. It's a cross of sour diesel and g13 haze. And Hawaiian Snow is supposed to be an absolute ass kicker. The biggest win margin in cup history.

how do we know if any of these percentages are even accurate? do only the best phenotypes out of hundreds of plants produce the advertised THC % or is it like every female plant from that strain has the capabilities to reach their potential? how do we know?

this pot head got a job working with the governments weed program. He got some strains they had, one was g13 a strong ass but vile strain and he sent it out to all his growbuddies and then the major seedbanks got ahold of it. They all worked on it for a long time till they got the killer plant today that a lot of seebanks use as a cross due to its potency and other characterists. That is as close to the longest most reputable story I have read about it. It is a long tale. But that is the gist. I heard some other rumor but I think it was a poorer telling of this one. Anyway it is real and famous.

Probably the University of Mississippi. They are the only university in the U.S. who is authorized by the U.S. government to grow and research cannabis. ;-)

I've never smoked it or seen wut the bud looks like BUT, I'm growing one right now. It's my healthiest looking plant, much nicer than the OG's BUT it grows really slow but gets bushy as F... . mine is about 11 inches tall but its almost a month old and it was a 3to4 inch clone when i got it. It has really Big dark Green leaves and sometimes its very hard to see the stem because its got TOO many leaves Way too many. Im cloning this one FO SHO. interesting, but im still curious as to if this is all just rumours, i need hard evidence dammit ! lol

How much did he say it was per gram again?

Why would "government" weed be any better than weed produced by an expert breeder/grower?
