I was wondering if anyone knew the effects of Ammonium Nitrate on marijuana plants?
A friend of mine actually has a very small supply and has offered to give me some, but I have no ides of how much I should use, or whether I should use it all.
The question is, should I bother to use it at all if i am using nutrients already? Will it actually boost the growth of the plant, or just cause an overabundance of Nitrogen and cause Nute burn?
He's right ! Just mix it with a little Diesel fuel and you have ANFO. Don't ask! Just Google anfo!
Back to the original question - Ammonium Nitrate is good for lawns and some farm crops, for cannabis, not so much! It will work, but it's a little too "in your face, chemically potent"!
FYI....Fox Farms Gro Big is actually derived from ammonium nitrate....among other chemicals like ammonium nitrate, ammonium phosphate, potassium phosphate, potassium nitrate, etc.
