Just checked on google maps and my hotel (dam square best western) is only a mile to the melkweg. Basically bang in the middle :-)

Rookies was a really nice coffee shop,weed was nice too,we was originally booked in their hotel for the cup but they turned it into a hostel lol.If i remember right i had a gram of snow ice weed or something with simular name and it wiped me out.
Get down to it is next to the Bulldog,again a really nice coffee shop,nice weed,pool tables sports on tv and loads of room.
Easy Times was alright too and its 800m from our apartment.
Not sure about the others though or i just cant remember them.
We could always do a coffee shop crawl and see where we end up.

Sorted, that's pretty much got the which shop thing outta the way, we do all of them we can hahahaha. now it just which one to meet up in and when.... how early do you start medicating?? im an early morning breakfast type of guy myself or as soon as coffeeshop opens anyway hee hee....

@Montanachadly.... I'm up for that night time meeting too....

may even be 5 or more welshmen, depending on how many of my buddies decide to get their arses into gear and book it, could be 10 of us in there, 8 in white, 1 in blue (Ags1983) and 1 in bl.... um red.

If it is still open, there's a small coffee shop called the Speakeasy in one of the side streets and I remember it being very friendly and had some great hash that had me mullered for a good half hour (2 cones of a waterpipe). little longer than 20 days for me/us but my ladies are on day 40 of 12/12 so need to be here in 20 days time anyway hahahaha...... :weed:

ps. if train station is 12 min from melkweg, im about same distance in opposite direction... 12 min for me too. not 25-30 like it says on brochure.. result.

Ah right, if it were just two of you I was gonna offer you a lift but I wouldn't fit 9 of us in my car, or my mates if we go down the route of being chauffered there by him lol. (big thank you fat boy in advance of your possible taxi-ing services). I will find out tomorrow if any of my other m8s are coming as if they are and there are more than two of em, up to 6 maybe, then i'll alter my plans and jump on the wagon too giving us a possible mini-bus full and guess what? I know a guy who has a mini-bus that does airport runs, etc. hope he's not already booked up....

Also been to the 'dam more times than I can remember , the saddest thing for me was the last time I went... my favorite coffee shop had changed hands.... it used to be called Pink Floyd, and had amazing coffee, and of course amazing bud.... steer clear of la canna, Grasshopper, bulldog, and other huge commercial shops. Blue velvet is a skeevy shop but has AMAZING bud.... have fun.. my suggestion is to walk the whole city multiple times... it is a great walking city.

looks like it's just me and my mrs so im gonna get lift up of my mate me thinks..... we need to get summin sorted if serious about a R.I.U. smoke off!!!! time is ticking away fast.....

I propose tuesday night that way it gets us a few days to find the best smoke we can. To make it easy we should all decide on a time and meet up at the attitude booth cause i hear its usually the biggest and easiest to find. Still got over a week. I just got my flight itinerary and i will be on the plane and airports for like 22+ hrs. I will be good tho when i find myself some speedy sativa bud there. Thats my proposed time tuesday night like 4 or 5 I dont know how you all feel about it.

Hey guys... I'm going to the cup too. Shoot me a PM if you wanna try and hook up at all. I'll be in the Dam from Friday afternoon till Tuesday (gotta get home for thanksgiving).

Also, just had to stand up for amsterdam a bit. I didn't find it the slightest bit Dangerous. Not sure what other cities some peeps have been to, but I found Amsterdam to feel safer than say London, New York, or LA. It is a big city so there are things to watch out for, but you aren't going to get mugged walking down the street. Now, if you go round the red light district at night... not the best place to be. They show their tits all day too... just go when it's light.

Lastly... I love the Grey Area coffeshop. The peeps who work there are anything but rude... the owner is american, maybe that makes a difference??? And they have real good smoke every time I've been.
