Amsterdam - Smoke the weed and buy the seeds? Help needed...

Hi all,

I'm off to Amsterdam in a week or so, and i'm hoping to do a bit of research whilst i'm there (hard work i know but someone has to do it) and i need a bit of advice before i go.

Having done a bit of homework, it's looking like the Cannabis Cup is a marketing tool for certain seed banks, and although i had planned on visting Barneys; after reading numerous poor reports i think i'll give it a miss.

The advantage of Barneys is that you can buy the seeds of the weed that they sell there, so i know exactly what i'm getting for my next grow.

The question is, are there any other coffeeshops that sell weed from good seed banks, and also sell the seeds?

Failing that, coffeeshops that sell the best weed with links to where the seeds come from, so that i can order online if i can't get them directly in Amsterdam?

Ideally i only want to try weed where the strain has feminised seeds available.

I've heard Grey Area and Voyagers are good, but any other suggestions would be great.

Grey Area when you can try reserva privada/dna and davil's harvest. very good weed in that coffeeshop. At greenhouse and barney's the weed is good but the seeds suck.,cheers.

Just to point out, just because you smoke something really good in the coffee shop, doesnt mean the seeds are going to give you anything close to what you smoke. One of the reasons people dont like Barney's Farm. They pick out the 1 out of 1000000000000 pheno that actually is pretty decent, but the seeds end up being the normal pheno which sucks assholes and likes it.

Devils Harvest seeds bro!! Shoreline and Fallen Angel are the best they do havent met anyone who does not love those both Shorelines are true S1 you can pop a million of those all the same, they just need TLC :weed:

Grey Area and Green Place coffee shops...Devils stuff from these places is always top quality as it comes from Devils direct ;)

I would just wonder around and find the best of the best in town don't matter which shop just who has the best but you will need selection. Better off going out west and picking up cuts really but they do have cuts in Europe too then no selection needed.

Grey Area is a good place..... :)
Voyagers have started selling there own seeds not sure if they are on the menu....
Green place is another one but again you would have to smoke look into the breeder then buy at a shop our online :)

I think this is a bad idea, while it sounds like a good one others have already pointed out that what you are smoking is not going to be 100% representation of what you will be growing. Especially considering how many plants they have to go through to find those winners. Totally not bagging on you I think it would be mad fun to do what you are doing but I don't think the times are there yet. If they had a clone shipping service with the exact clone of what you are smoking I would buy that shit in a heartbeat if it was good smoke.

But seeds... shit man you can get anything from a charlie brown christmas tree to a 10lb banana lolol it is all luck.

Yeah I went to Amsterdam's last year(going again in September :)) and at the grey area they recommended shoreline, it's coming down in just a few days and looks great. They were raving about the smell.

I also have a fallen angle that's ready for flower... How they're everything I hear. Never grown devils harvest out before this
