An old "Vietnam" vet needs help with this Flushing question

I have some ladies growing in a Pro-Mix soil with 1/2 cup of sweet lime added to each 3 gal container. They are under 600wattHPS..
I keep getting conflicting ideas about the need to flush. I am using the FoxFarm trio (can't afford all 6 !)
Some say there is no need to flush others say I better!!

What's the answer you experts!!! I've only been an expert smoker not grower!

i flush when i over feed or make a mistake other wise I let the girls do what they do.

It totally depends on who you talk to. Myself, I'm of the school that flushing is NG.


Edit: I'm not claiming to be an expert.... just a guy that takes a keep it simple, no nonsense approach, that's been successfully gardening for a long time.

I seem to agree byt with all this info. out there it gets "too" damn confusing for my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is an unwritten rule of growing cannabis or anything for that matter, KISS
Keep It Simple Stupid

I use General Hydroponics 3 part set with Tiger Bloom, simple and effective.

watch and see, if it aint broke.....

All the regular horticulture and gardening forums that I've been to all say the same thing, that flushing should only be done a last resort.

but i do flush at the end for about 4 days straight, everyday, before they go into the dark cycle.

do you mean before you are switching to 12/12 or just before harvest??
