An opinion question.

As some back story, My uncle has been a relatively well known musician in the past. He's played with and taught many bands and was a massive stoner in his youth. (he's in his 70's now). He hasn't been really involved in the family in the last few years, there was the usual falling out after my grandfather died. Recently he's left his wife of almost 50 years and has gotten back involved in the family.

He hasn't smoked pot since the beginning of his marriage. He's coming down to visit for Easter and has asked me to get him high. The question is. Would you smoke up your 70+ year old uncle.

Well, I'm over 50, so there might be less of an age difference if that matters. However, I think there's good people and bad people, and "family" has nothing to do with that fact.

Would I smoke up some old, cool musician? Most definitely. Would I smoke up some 70 year old asshole? Not at all. Since I don't know the dude, I can't give you any better answer.

Hell yes I would. I would let him know that he's only getting one or two hits to make sure he doesn't freak out. Hell yes.

related sidenote: I caught my gramma smoking a bong at a picnic when I was about 10. She was in her 60's.

Great replies already. He is a very cool guy. I'm excited for the chance to get to know him better. Just on the fence about getting him stoned. Would you take the good stuff or pick up some mids?

Good stuff, but choose strain wisely, haha. I think it will be a good bonding experience and help you both get to know each other... people let down their guard more towards those with whom they partake...

TBH Top shelf was my leaning. My question about mids was thinking of not freaking him out.
Cool, next addition to the question. I currently have easy access to Sweet Deep Grapefruit, Moby Dick, Critical Jack, Pineapple Chunk, BC Blueberry, ChemDog and Little Cheese. What would you roll for Easter if you were in my shoes?

Definitely, I smoked with my mother for the first time about 6 months ago, headband, and blueberry she took like 6 hits lol... she said it isn't for herr... We went and did the fall colors drive... I rather enjoyed it...

haha im a kind of younger guy so when every once in a while the opportunity comes to smoke up another generation i always go for it! you have those conversations you only have with people when your smoking and partaking with someone older and wiser makes those conversations all that much more enlightening. not to mention i feel like these old timer smokers like willie nelson paved the way to where we are now so your kinda giving back lol...wait your uncle isnt willie nelson is it because then i would be incredible jealous..id say he ranks top 3 on people still alive id like to burn one with

I think if his uncle is Willie Nelson, then uncle Willie should be the one breaking out the top shelf!

No, if it was Willie I'd be all over his weed. No he worked with Bands like Glass Tiger, White Lion and Culture club. I met Boy George in the 80's hanging out at my uncles. Interestingly I've only ever heard him play Beatles tunes, never anything terrible.
