I have 2 of these t8s at the moment growing 6 plants now 11 days old- http://www.lightbulbs-direct.com/product/2271/gro-lux-18w-t8-2ft-fluorescent-tube/ but dont know how many lumens each bulb has so dunno if they have enough light! I know each plant needs like 5000 lumens of light each.. but i dont understand the 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower.. what is "K"? how many does my t8's have aswell as lumens? I might not be making any sense im confused lol.. HELP!

T8 tubes are not very good to grow with, 2ft tubes put out about 1000 lumens each at best. Lumens are a human thing tho, not really relative to plants. Fluoros are about spectrums. Kelvin is a color rating, but also more for humans. 6500k fluoros tend to put out more blue spectrum and 2700k is more red, both bulbs are 'white' however and emit light in the green/yellow ranges that plants don't use. Gro-Lux bulbs use phosphors that glow with red and blue radiation, attempting to eliminate the unused spectrums.

Either way, your plants will not get very far past seedlings with only 2 18w bulbs.
