I started on 11-24-12 (wanted to see if I was able to keep them alive and get a spring harvest)


Started with 6 seeds... 4 made it passed stage 1

I plan on using 20 gals tubs going for a 2-20 gal scrog (1st time still learning.. )
then the rest will be LST to get a wider crop rather then last years taller one..

House Citrus.. 1st grow got a seed from the grow (bubba kush and Orange Crush poss) so I planted it 2nd year it gave another seed so..
hoping she was as nice as the 1st 2

How I have managed to keep em alive during the "winter" here (temps did get to 22 at the coldest.. it's been 60 last few days) total cost was <$20.00

yeah gonna attempt to keep em about 4 foot tall max and as wide as they will go...

still have a good 2+ mo's before I get my real game face on... slowly putzin around with the compost and reused soil piles from last years grow..

I have tons of research to do.. someone post a stellar photo last year in a 25 gal tub witch was LST'd and it just freaking looked cool! so gotta try that too

Are they technically gonna be flowering from seed since the hours of light are so short?
Looks good with the DIY greenhouse for warmth for sure rep for outdoor grow right now.

buddy had started about 1 mo before me.. he has buds now.. will allow to reveg.

I am all about saving money.. last years entire grow was <300$ with my referal lic... plants-soil-nutes- SUN!

Everything has been getting really frosty and frozen early in the morning here.
Should be clearing up anytime now though. Awesome to see your perseverance though.

CA here... "winter" here gets to the mid 20's for a mere 1-2 weeks then it's back to 50-60's

Cen Valley Ca... almost year round growing here... with the small GH it's now year round...

ladies are too large to handle now..
from 10 mins ago...

I will not be planting this early next year, but I did get to test out the GH to see if it will keep em alive..

Idk about year round, keeping them alive is one thing, but for the age of those plants they are quite stunted

dont feel bad, I got a few pineapple kush seeds that are stunted also but they survived the winter and they started in nov. stayed in my cold garage in a fish tank with 2 cfls at temps under 30 degrees until jan. now there about the same size if not smaller than yours

I just stuck a couple outside yesterday... lookin good there

been awhile since I updated here so... one of the 4 above were male.. killed it.. and today made some clones outta the 3 mom's

Dr did up my limit to 55/3lbs and I am still gonna keep it under 15 and still going to scrog..

I normally use rockwool or dirt but did have some good success last year with this method..

yeah little light poking thru most days were cloudy.. I would have gotten a whopping 15-20gs if I cut my carm in a few months.. so I would need to plant about 10 next year in the winter to get what I need till next harvest..

this was more of a test to see if I could rather then if I should.. lol
