Ok smart guy, real simple, cause = government..... result = fuck things up. Do you get it?What was the government responding to when creating these regulations. Results, not causes. You're addressing the results and have not identified the cause. Do you get it?
They most likely are. I agree. I don't like the government and I don't like big business. They're one and the same.My argument is that government = fuck up business
Unfortunately that is true. However, if government didn't play the game and add to the corruption, there would be no game. They most likely are. I agree. I don't like the government and I don't like big business. They're one and the same.
So the failing banks (big business) was caused by government? Really?Ok smart guy, real simple, cause = government..... result = fuck things up. Do you get it?
Perhaps. What I don't understand is how people cannot see the danger of conglomerate corporations. I healthy private sector with thriving small business is ideal. Government can interrupt this ideal process, but big business can as well. They become so huge and powerful, making and influencing decisions that benefit only themselves.Unfortunately that is true. However, if government didn't play the game and add to the corruption, there would be no game.
Gov't pushed these big businesses to put out bad money and take stupid risks. So the failing banks (big business) was caused by government? Really?
The way I see it, the banks fucked up and the government responded.
They didn't force them to. They opened the doors, but the corporations saw the potential profit and jumped at the bit. It was government deregulation that caused this mess, so now they're regulating. We'll see what happens...Gov't pushed these big businesses to put out bad money and take stupid risks.
Ohhhh, jrh, don't make me start quoting Barney Frank. They didn't force them to. They opened the doors, but the corporations saw the potential profit and jumped at the bit. It was government deregulation that caused this mess, so now they're regulating. We'll see what happens...
