LOL I definitely would be down to meet up! One question I think that I asked before but can't remember the answer to. How do you guys cure large amounts like this? There is no way I am gonna be able to jar all these up! I currently have 12 1QT Masons jars and half of my smallest plant has already filled one. I can't imagine having to spend $100 + on these jars. Can I use turkey bags and humidpacks like this...

Thanks for any info you may have. :)
$100 is nothing vs. the amount of buds you'll be harvesting. Let me do some math....6 pounds or more of grade A+ buds = about 10K-15K, I say spend the money.
Here's a tip for you ABM....Costco has GIANT glass jars of dill pickles for $3.50-$4.00 a jar buy a few of those, donate the pickles to your kids school....lmao, and use those jars. I bought new jars 2 years ago and those jars cost me more then the Costco pickle jars would have. They're nicer then the Costco jars, but I have a few Costco Jars too and they work just as good. Just make sure you wash them and the lids VERY GOOD,don't want no picklie smelling buds.
You could also cure in plastic bags, but I would have a better place to store after cured. I use military Anmo boxes, but check the seal on them real good before buying one. They come in all sizes and are weather proof. I have a few smaller ones (holds a pound of herbs) and a large one for bulk storage. I highly recommend using these boxes, air tight, keeps the smell in, I can store in these up to a year with no issues, just need to keep the herbs cool.
Hope this helps...

I bought cases of the Cosco pickles & would take them to work & put them in the lunch room frig. It's hard to get the pickle smell out of the lid. You can buy new lids online cheap.

Now I just use turkey bags!

You have to remember that I will more than likely not be vending any of this to dispensaries as I don't have the connections to do so yet and I am not confident enough on my quality to approach any. :( If I did I could easily justify the added expense of jars. Shit knowing for sure I could fire sale at least half of my crop would make me a VERY happy man.

That's what I was thinking. Turkey bags and twist ties. Then a vacuum sealer for long term storage.

i clean and reuse the jars ive been using from past harvests. if i need more i go to osh or walmart anywhere that has a canning section and buy a few flats depending on how many extra i need (flats of 12 run about $10 at walmart) (OSH carries 1 gal jars for i think about 15 for a flat of 12). i always get the large mouth jars because its easier to get the nugs out... then from the jars i package into 1lb seal-a-meal bags label by strain and store in the gun cab for later use!

well you could: hang all the branches in a closet and have a fan circulating air... to dry them, but you will need jars to cure and store it. im nearby too can i come?

Curious as to folk's experiences with closet drying. Assuming the humidity is low, will keeping the door closed, except to air out once a day cause issues? last year I hung in the closet, left the door opened with the overhead fan on. They were crispy in 2-3 days. Looking for a slower dry and thinking NOT having air blow on them will do it right

Hello all. I decided that I wanted to check the trichs this morning and noticed quite a few hitting a nice clear so I started my harvest. I want this first batch to be more uplifting and really want the smoker to feel it. The rest I will get in a couple weeks as they become ready. So I thought I would show off the first round. I added the gold ball for size comparison. :)

Platinum Bubba Kush - half

The Prophet - 4 branches

Pre98 Bubba Kush - 4 branches

Pre98 Bubba Kush - 3 branches

Blue Dream - top third

I still have all of those plants to finish harvesting in about a week and I have yet to touch the Redwood Kush x2, Green Crack x3,1 small Ancient Afghan, 1 6' 5" Pre98 Bubba Kush, 1 Maui Wowwie x 707 Headband, and the Purple Trash that is going to be in the lbs. All comments welcome. :)

Also anyone that has some inside info on how to vend it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to recoup a little cost of this grow even though it wasn't much. Thanks guys! :)

That looks so good ABM! So if you pick a little early, it's more sativa like? Good to know. You are gonna be busy for quite some time.

Good morning all. I will be taking the rest of the Blue Dream and Prophet today. Everything else I am going to let sit for at least another week. :)

Looks like a busy day trimming ABM, good thing football is on! Best part of a fall harvest is football on the tube.....I guess no more tube, it's the "flat-screen"?

Wow, yours are finishing up a lot earlier than mine, I'm looking at at least 2 if not 3 weeks. Your pistils turn red? I notice you said your trichs were still clear on the bubba?

What strains you running this time?
not too sure yet have a variety to choose from, got jack herer, og kush, burmese kush, blue widow, aloha berry, strawberry diesil, og/ukcheese, perma frost, platinum bubba kush, kaboom, double dream. my plan is 12 total 3 different strains 4 each so i can do 2 in soil and 2 in hydro for the comparison. just not sure which ones yet
