Hello TXskunkKush. I mixed up half a teaspoon of Bicarb and half a teaspoon of soap in to 1 Ltr of water today and gave my baby's a nice little spray this morning and again tonight. If the websites that i got the info are correct then i should see a difference by tomorrow hopefully. If all works to plan then i`ll let you know straight away so you can try yourself if you haven't already. The other problem that i have now is my dog Zara has taken a shine to one of my plants Strong Smell of Skunk and she keeps trying to lick it. lol...

Hello TXskunkKush. I`ve got an update for you, If your going to try the Bicarb and Liquid Soap then try less than half of what i used per Ltr of water. Although it seems to have cleared the mold up my plants are a little droopy and now have brown spots all over the lower leaves. I`m not sure if it`s where the mold has damaged the leaves or if i have another problem ? If i upload a before and after pic do you think you could give me your opinion as to what it might be ?

Ok after looking at yours im not for sure it could be a reaction to that solution u sprayed im not going to say panic because when my girl got her spots i left her alone and she fully recovered despite those ugly little spots where some of the leaf died off, i recommend starting a thread in plant problems n see what those more experienced growers say

Seeing the whole of your baby now she does look healthier than my 2 lol... I`m going to take your advice and try to start a new thread. I can build a computer and fix them as well but when it comes to using them i hav`nt got a clue so i might be back asking you how to do it lol.... Well it`s 3.15am here now so i`m going to leave it until the morning. Thanks for having a look for me ;o) i`ll let you know how i get on if it`s something new that we hav`nt had yet ? lol....

hey rot... looks like that baking soda did something to them. BTW, that is an alkaline substance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_bicarbonate

im not sure how Ph affects the leaves if you foliar spray, but that seems to be what happened. respray it with PLAIN water, and maybe flush them too. that drooping to me looks like overwatering(dont flush if it is), but if the soil is dry, it could be a part of the Ph issue due to the spray. if so, flush out the soil with plain water also. what was the reason for spraying that on them anyways?

Don't water at night. Don't try to foliar feed at night. Don't water every single day. You will live. Use something organic to get rid of the mildew if you have it and everything will be okay

I figured out that my problem was definitely not powdery mildew. I have a few rose bushes that have powdery mildew and like the name says, it IS "powdery." A very bright white too. It is literally like the leaves were dumped cooking flour on. It is powdery and if you hit the leaves or wipe them with your finger some of the powder will come off. On my plants, I think the small white dots are from the spidermites, but there is also light white-ish patches on some leaves but have been watching these carefully and these have not spread greatly in any one particular leaf. I think these white patches are just mineral deposits possibly from the splinkler or just from sitting in the sun, but I have sure that I do not have this powdery mildew as I had feared. How are your plants now? And do they match the description of the powdery mildew on my rose bushes?

Best of luck,
